  • This resort is a great place to take a vacation. The staff is excellent, and you can enjoy floating around 1 of 2 lazy rivers.

Our family stayed here in July 2015 and were very impressed! The private beach club on the ocean was wonderful and there was a Holiday Inn Club Vacations shuttle that runs every couple minutes from the units to to the beach club across the street in case you don't want to walk and carry all of your beach toys yourself (less than a 5 minute walk). The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have the units away from the busy beach area - easy parking and green space around the resort. The pools were great for the kids and there were lots of activities there and in the surrounding area.

We started going to Myrtle Beach right after Christmas in 2009. We own at Holiday Inn in Florida and were happy to see the expansion to South Beach. In, 2009 we spent $925 for a 2 bd condo on the strip for four nights. It was ok. Last year we stayed in South Beach and found it very convenient and wonderful. It was easy to find, and had easy access. The accommodations were great. The Club house is in the main resort is actually very small for the amount of people they have. They have about 6 tables, to set up your stuff while the kids are swimming in the heated pool. They don't have a lot of events set up for the winter (although this year we had a hard time getting time there, so they do have a lot of people in the winter). They do have a club house across the street, on the beach. It was open but no one was there. They should have it staffed even in the winter time. You could not get any drinks and there were no games for the kids. We had a 2 bd and traded in with our points in the Holiday Inn Network. The cost about $500 plus cleaning for four nites. We are going back this year and it has become an after Christmas Holiday tradition. There is so much to do in Myrtle Beach.

We bought in May 2007 and have enjoyed every stay at South Beach Resort. It is nestled in among the links of Midway Par-3 East Golf Course and just across South Ocean Boulevard from its own ocean front access, Breezes Beach Club. It is far enough off Ocean Boulevard to provide quiet solitude in every unit, and yet very proximate to many of the entertainment attractions along The Strand. The pools are nice and both units in which we have stayed provided plenty of space, great decor and quiet solitude for the whole family. The master suite is spacious. Each year, an owner receives-- for every week owned--numerous coupons for complimentary or deeply-discounted recreational opportunities in the Myrtle Beach area, including Par 3 golf, miniature golfing at 4 or 5 locations, NASCAR Waves & Speed Park, Pavilion Nostalgia Park and others. What a comprehensive experience to enjoy much of what the Myrtle Beach area has to offer!

Finally, we have appreciated its great exchange value for other RCI resorts in both Florida and North Carolina. We are very happy with our two-week ownership at South Beach Resort and anticipate many improvements under the new management of Holiday Inn Club Vacations.

We bought our week before any buildings were complete. We go back each year because it is wonderful-beautiful decor, relaxing surroundings, plenty of space for all the guests to enjoy the on-site pools and events. With two other timeshares we trade for all over the country ( and many resorts in Myrtle Beach) but this is the only resort we are compelled to return to each year. It has everything! Our kids range from 8-18 and there is something for all of us. Being at the end of the strand cuts out a lot of the mess of traffic and noise. The staff is always accomodating and friendly. By far the best resort in town!

My husband, my daughter, my parents & I, all went to South Beach resort in April of 2006 and we had a ball!!! This resort has everything you could think of! We had a GORGEOUS 2 bedroom condo on the third floor. It over looked the strip along the beach! We couldn't quite see the beach but it was still gorgeous! I would reccommend this resort to anyone who wants to get away! I loved it!

Booked this 4bedroom 4 bathroom timeshare rental as my trial for Redweek. I could not have been happier with the resort, the accommodations, the Redweek booking process. The room we rented for the 4 of us was just amazing. Simply luxurious. Wish I we could have stayed longer. We stayed the week after Labor Day so the first few days were more crowded but after Labor Day we really enjoyed the reduced occupancy. Like I said we lucked up into a 4 bedroom Presidential suit near the pool. The suite had everything. We did do a timeshare presentation which was completely optional. You should have seen the look on the Timeshare sales people when we told them what we paid for our week on Redweek. We were former timeshare owners with another plan and will never go back.

The main pool has a lazy river and water slides. Pool towels are provided, Cash bar at the pool. We went to the beach via the shuttle which is really convenient for a shuttle. You have to walk across a multi lane road to the beach if you want to avoid the shuttle but who wants to do that even with the beach cart that was in our room. There are basketball courts and volleyball nets on site. location is right by the airport.

the only negatives were the on-site food service with what seemed like microwave burgers. I highly recommend this resort especially if you can get one of the multi room suites at the Hilton Signature club. Be sure to ask the renter about THE HILTON SIGNATURE Club. It's a different experience.
