Marriott's Aruba Surf Club is the best resort! First you have a relaxing lazy river that winds through a lush tropical paradise past a walk up pool bar, hot tubs, and water slides.

Take a short stroll past the glider swings to the white sandy beach where you can plunge into the calm waters or rent some of the water toys. To the right you can enjoy the amenities of the other Marriot properties. To the left is a public pier where you can rent fun excursions.

Walk out the main entrance of the Marriott's Aruba Surf Club and you are a minute away from amazing shopping, food and night life! Oh, make sure you check the iguana feeding schedule. You won't want to miss it!

Beautiful resort - always perfect weather - always friendly and obliging staff. A perfect tonic for the midwinter blues!

It’s the best island in the Caribbean the weather is perfect all locals are very friendly and the restaurants are outstanding I’ve been there 25 years in a row and sometimes twice a year you won’t be disappointed and beaches are great also

Marriott Aruba Surf Club is situated on Palm Beach and also has Swimming Pools, a Lazy River and Health Club The Two Bedroom Villa has an Ocean View and features a Master Suite with King Size Bed, A Second Bedroom with two Queen Size Beds, The Villa has Two Full Bathrooms, The Living Room also has a Sofa Bed. Villa sleeps eight people. Fully equipped Kitchen Washer and Dryer Three TVs

The accomodations are just so comfortable. It's like your apartment with 2 beds, 2 baths, living room, dining room and full kitchen.

Great place for the whole family. Safe, gorgeous place and weather. You will LOVE the lazy river!

Great location and resort with so much to do (both at the resort and around Aruba)! Very close to the beach and being able to make some meals in the kitchen allowed my family to enjoy more excursions and fun activities around the area. The memories we made with our kids here will last a lifetime!

Not sure how this resort is on Redweek’s #1 spot. The only thing we can think is that it is a warm place to go for Americans to escape in cold winter months. I’ve been to other beach locations that have nicer beaches. This resort has a tiny piece of the ocean right next to a busy boat dock, with zero waves, dirty cloudy ocean water that is not turquoise, overly crowded lagoon feel with hundreds on their rafts, 9 rows of palapas (beach umbrellas) that have to be reserved and paid for in advance but 7 rows of the palapas have zero view of the water, and it is VERY hot & humid lying under the palapa with no beach view!

You MUST bring your own inner tubes to ride in the VERY crowded lazy river. (An inner tube is also the best way to enjoy the ocean, or you’ll be smothered by all the other inner tubes.)

The pool area is VERY crowded, with every lounge chair taken. Wake up early to reserve a chair. (You are given chair tags at check in to reserve your pool chairs daily.) We visited in late September 2024, so the swim up bar pool was drained and under construction. 1/3 of the pool chairs were not available.

We rented a car to drive around the island and LOVED swimming all day at Baby Beach! If you visit Aruba, this is a must if your looking for turquoise waters. We also loved swimming in the beaches near the lighthouse. Parts of the island are very run down, but we felt very safe.

Positives about the resort: Rooms are comfortable and definitely, Marriott quality, Beautiful sunsets, Great restaurants and nightlife nearby, Very clean, Gorgeous tropical landscape, Friendly workers, Great place to visit if you are retired or with a family, Water aerobics classes were fun because so many people attended, Incredible fitness facilities (best I’ve seen for a Marriott timeshare), The constant breeze feels amazing, The pool towel vending machine was awesome and very user friendly.

Always have a wonderful stay here. June is a wonderful time of the year to come as it is shoulder season and the resort is not as crowded as other months. Walkable to restaurants, stores and great walks on the beach.

Great location, beautiful beach and pools. Walking distance to shopping and dining. The villa is large and has all of the modern conveniences.

This resort is my favorite of all of my Marriott Timeshare portfolio. The reason I am selling is because I have too much. I am Presidential and thought I could use all of my weeks/points. The reality is that I have more than I can travel. This would be perfect for someone that wants to get away from the cold winters. Platinum season is fantastic and if you already own a week you could just add another (or 2 if you lock it off). For 2025 I have the points 3,475.
