The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta Reviews & Ratings

We had an amazing time as a family of 8 staying at the Grand Mayan @ Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta. We enjoyed the pools and beach every day as a family, the men golfed, I got a massage, and the kids participated in the kids club activities. At night we checked out VidantaWorld and we tried out a different restaurant each night. There was something for each one of us to do, so we never got bored! Service was very attentive at the pool and at dinner. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room tidy.

We have spent four weeks are this resort and absolutely loved it. The pools, beaches, staff and accommodations were excellent. Vidanta World was incredible and will be world class upon completion.

Super luxury resort. We have stayed at The Grand Mayan many times and it is our go to Vidanta location. Vidanta World Park is open but all the rides are not finished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We are going down again in 2025 for 3 weeks.

We stayed in 2 2-bedroom units January 2024. Facilities were clean and all employees were friendly and helpful. They would all touch their heart as we approached. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay there on our next trip to Mexico. It is a great resort.

This resort is awesome! Besides All of the different facilities, lazy river, events on site, you have the FestivalGourmet International.

You really don’t even need to leave The resort to have a fun filled vacation. Or play tourist With the places to go inPuerto Vallarta.

Absolutely fabulous resort and getting bigger and better every year. The constant growth of the property does from time to time result in in some minor inconveniences as the the resort tries to maintain operations while growing by leaps and bounds. There are now four or five Grand Luxxe buildings of various tiles and benefits, one of the original Mayan hotels which now includes the exquisite grocery store ( a bit pricey but terrific selections), the Grand Bliss with its terrific lobby and beach side pool, the huge Grand Mayan ( my favourite ) with the great pools for adults and especially the kids pools. There are now two golf courses on the property. We spent 15 years on this property. The service staff are terrific, very warm, accommodating and friendly. The management is always trying to help and the local Mexican population made our stay at the Grand Mayan Nueveo Vallarta " our winter home"

Amazing resort with lots to do, lazy river, wave pool, walking paths, beautiful beach, lots of restaurants to choose from. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. Our favourite place to stay and have stayed here many, many times.

We vacation with my husband's three other siblings and their families on a regular basis and the Nuevo Vallarta location is perfect for our large group. The kids have fun and know their way around the very safe resort, and the adults have fun with the many pool activities, great beach, and downtown Puerto Vallarta adventures. There are several day trips to book that range from adrenaline junky to relaxation lover.

Our contract allows owners to stay at the exclusive new Celebrate Park when it opens. Our contract has 2 for 1 golf, and no maintenance fees. You only pay when you stay!

This is our second time staying at Vidanta. The resort is amazing. The resort is like a tropical paradise so beautiful. Our room, well suite actually was very nice and comfortable but we did not spend much time there. Half of our time was at a pool or the beach. We only saw 2 of the pools this time. I can't remember how many they said they had but it was a lot. We spent a day in Puerta Vallarta city. Exploring and some shopping. We will be back next year.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The resort is located right on the beach and easy to navigate. There several golf courses to enjoy also if you choose to.

Great resorts. Lots of stuff on the property to keep you busy. Restaurants are all very good. It's a bit out of the way from Puerto Vallarta, so be prepared to spend $60-70 on cab fare if you want to go off the resort and explore. The staff is also really nice and accommodating.

Incredible property in awesome location with tons of fun things to do and explore

My family of 5 have vacationed at both Nuevo Vallart and Rivera Maya at the Grand Mayan for many years. We have loved every aspect of our vacation. The condo is so lovely, efficient and relaxing. The resort has so much to offer between wonderful fun activities for all the family. We live the water aerobics and beach volley ball and soccer. Relaxing by the pool and then ending the day at the spa and finally eating at one of the fantastic restaurants.

The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is a great place to bask in the sun with fun activities at the pool, classy places for dinning and entertainment, which boasts a stunning and sprawling property if you just want to go for a walk and enjoy the view. You won't regret your visit especially with the new theme park opening soon at Nuevo. All yours to explore. You won't regret it.

I love Vidanta. The property feels spacious and luxurious. It really is something one has to experience to appreciate. It is over 1100 acres so lots of trails and beautiful paths to walk around. It never feels crowded. The staff are friendly and the food never disappoints. The pools are amazing and it really does have something for everyone. The “quiet person” who wants to relax and read and the “outgoing or sporty” who would like to play beach volleyball. I usually never want to go back to the same resort, as I like trying new places. But not with Vidanta, I will return year after year!

I have stayed at the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta for eight weeks a year for the past sixteen years. I always have a wonderful time. I have brought my children and grandchildren on several occasions and they always want to return. They have a great time at the Kids Club and with the people at the activity center.

I have been a member of the Vidanta resort since 2007 and find the staff very pleasant and helpful. The upscale Grand Mayan is strategically located to many pools and the Aqua Park which features the Mayan Pyramid water slide and wave pool. To top all this off is the comfortable wide lazy river outside the Grand Mayan where you can enjoy a relaxing ride in a tube. There are many great restaurants all though the resorts you will have access to and enjoy the exquisite cuisine. A short distance away is a never ending the beach which begs you to take a stroll. The benefit of Vidanta is you will never feel crowded as there are plenty of spaces explore.

This resort has everything a person can imagine, 3 golf courses, 40 restaurants to choose from, various bars & lounges. Wonderful live music (Jazz, Cuban, Piano). The beach and pools are lovely. The lazy river is amazing. Now the staff and the cleanliness of the resort is truly awesome. Everyone works hard to make your stay enjoyable.
