Love this place! Will definitely stay here again. It's fun, colorful, relaxing and has great food. Great place for a couple retreat or to bring kids. There are so many things to do and cool places to go. Beautiful weather and sights. My favorite thing was napping in the hammock outside on our balcony. Every room has one!

Located outside of the busy hotel district with beautiful views of Islas Mujeres. Beautiful property with multiple pools and onsite restaurants. Islas Mujeres is a must do day trip or two with ferry access adjacent to the hotel.

My family and I stayed at this resort over our daughters school fall break. We brought several families with us and we had the best time. The resort is extremely clean and well kept. The grounds are beautiful and you don’t have to walk very far to get around this resort. We are at every restaurant and they were all excellent and very reasonably priced. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. The Ultramar was within walking distance from this resort and you could take a day trip over to the Island Isla Mujeres. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back. They also have an optional all-Inclusive program which was very reasonable but we chose not to do it because we took a couple of excursions outside the resort.

The all-inclusive package is very much preferred to stay on property and enjoy the many wonderful and varied restaurants. Wonderful for children or adults only. Many activities available. A very safe and well-run resort.

Gorgeous resort, beautifully maintained grounds, spacious comfortable rooms, very attentive staff, great restaurants, beautiful beach, and fabulous spa!

Cancun is always a great place for vacations and the hotel strip can be quite busy and crowded. Villa de Palmar Cancun is away from the busy hotel strip which means it's more peaceful. But you can take a 15 min trip to the city to enjoy the entertainment there. It's also near Isla Mujeres which is good for a day trip.

We have enjoyed our stay: lot of things to see and do. Proximity of Chichen Itza, etc. Numerous choice of restaurants at the resort and in town.

Have been to this resort twice and we love it. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Great beach, pools (5), and 5 restaurants...steakhouse, italian, Mexican, Buffet and Sushi/Japanese. All inclusive is a possibility and great to take advantage of with a family. The spa is fabulous and the staff is so nice. We'll be back!

We own the Villa Group at another location. We had never been to Cancun so we booked a week here. The resort is high end but extremely remote. Our one meal here was mediocre. Cab fare is abt. $20 to downtown (20-25 minutes). We checked out after one night and spent the rest of the week in a downtown resort ; had a fun filled vacation. If you want quiet, you are better off in south Florida between Xmas and Easter. Don't stay here, you will be bored.

We have enjoyed this resort on two occasions. We prefer that fact that it is not in the hustle bustle area of Cancun,

Although this resort is a refreshing change from the frenetic hotel zone, it is miles from anything else. We have mixed feelings about it. The optional All Inclusive fee is high ($110 per person per day) and the restaurant meals are a little skimpy. The Davino and Steak restaurants are quite good, but expensive, with "special" dinners (around $35 - $40) that have an extra charge for All Inclusive diners. The kiddie pool is the only heated one, and hot tubs always seemed not to work. MANY guests are here on 5-day specials which says they are working hard to sell. The units are very nice with somewhat more cooking facilities than average (but only in the large bedroom side). We had a surprise--we were told we were too old for a presentation (over 70) but we got the same "gifts" for $50. That includes a free bus downtown to shop, and 15% discount on purchases. Overall this is better for families than us old codgers.

We've never been disappointed visiting these properties. Our family always have a great time. I always check reviews of where we will be staying and are always well rated.

I adore this resort! It's away from the crazy hotel zone but close enough to everything that you don't feel isolated. I would highly recommend swimming with whale sharks if they are in season! The resort can book it for you. The food was wonderful and the hotel is new and clean. Have fun!

Restaurant variety and food quality is amazing. All inclusive meal plans (with drinks or without drinks) are available but not included. It's a 5 minutes walk on the beach to the ferry taking you to Isla Mujeres.
