Only a handful of states require a timeshare license when selling timeshares? Let alone renting them. I only know of 3 that require such a license and it's not a real estate license either. This is something people day to make you think that to justify why you need their services, as we all know timeshares have very little value. Fairly common misconception, I've handled thousands of contacts when working for various developers and not once had to have such lancing. So if I can help a client with their paperwork free of charge I'm not sure why they would want to pay a real estate agent, which more than likely isn't as knowledgeable.

And depends on service. Advertising Vacations and account management are 2 completely different services.
