Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort

We had a wonderful time. Great for young families. Walking distanct to restaurant and entertainment for small kids. Lots of activitities to keep family busy. The Disney beach house is great. Very beautiful, lots of trees.

I don't own at this Disney Location in HH, but I do own the Disney Vacation Club at two resorts at WDW in Orlando and in Vero Beach. We love this resort because it is SO QUIET. What a wonderful place to sit on the deck or porch and read or listen to music. The resort is NOT on the ocean which was Disney's biggest mistake since the beach on HH is collosal. There are free transfers from the Disney Resort to the Oceanside Beach House, but we know you ABSOLUTELY need a car to stay at this resort. All the restaurants are nice on Hilton Head Island but you must drive to get to them. Supermarkets are plentiful but, again you will need a car.(cab rides are expensive and time consuming) When we stay at Disney's Hilton Head resort, it is not for the beach, it is for tranquity and relaxation. When we want a beach vacation we use our other non Disney timeshares or go to our Disney Vero Beach property. We don't expect Disney's Hilton Head Resort to be "our end all be all" vacation spot since it isn't on the water.

But we still love it there and feel lucky when we sit on our porch and rock. What a peaceful and quiet retreat.

beautiful resort - the grand villa (3-bedrooms) have a fireplace. very peaceful and relaxing - but you can walk to a shopping area - best of both worlds.

Intimate resort, walking distance to Shelter Cover marina shops and restaurants. Hammocks, tree swings, and BBQ grills scattered amongst the studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes. Fabulous sunset views from pier. Kids will be entertained for hours with pool slide on property, plus many kids activities. Sams Club and Publix nearby. Beach is 1 mile bike ride away under canopy of trees. Shuttle available, too. Another pool at beach house--excellent facilities. Service is #1.
