Port O'Call

This is a wonderful resort on Shipyard Plantation in the middle of the Island. There are lovely ponds and fountains throughout. The rooms are gigantic and it is a five minute stroll to the beach. There are loads of bike paths that can bring you anywhere you want to go on Hilton Head. The property borders the Crowne Plaza, which allows you to use their restaurant and life gurards at the beach.

Port O'Call is a very lay back resort with a friendly staff. On Tuesdays they have a wonderful free barbeque that includes fried chicken, ribs, salads,beer and soda. Some days they have free lunch at the pool. I have never been in a resort that does this kind of neighborly "party thing" and we loved it as did our kids and grandkids..

The room slept 7 of us very nicely. It has two king suites and two queen sofas. The villa even has a "den" that has a couch and chair for reading the day away. It has a full kitchen and a large dining room plus a living room with a deck and a sofa and two chairs. With 7 people, we still had sitting space for everyone to watch TV together.

I can't wait to go back. It is beautiful and relaxing and practically on the beach (which is rare for Hilton Head Island). There is also a nice golf course on Shipyard Plantation that has lovely greens and tennis courts on site. This is a resort that never gets boring. What more can you ask of a timeshare??

We love it here!! A beautiful, private resort with water channels and fountains throughout. The pool areas are great! It's centrally located on the island, so it's easy to bike almost anywhere! And the beach is a short walk across the road! No need to drag out the car!! Great place! We'll go back again!!

This resort is within walking distance of a beautiful SC private beach. Most HH resorts are not. That's why we loved this place!! We didn't have to get sand in the car! We biked on the many bike paths, played golf and enjoyed the many extras this resort offers, like free lunches by the pool, games and just plain fun. We hope everyone enjoys their vacation at Port O'Call!! A Gold Crown Resort!!

excellent care taken to exterior and interior of buildings and grounds- i've talked to the groundskeepers. a great place to stay at with family- 2 exits which gives u convenience- golf is pretty good also. this is a "gold crown resort"- it must be maintained or it would lose its rating.
