Indian Palms Vacation Club underwent a two-year, two million dollar renovation beginning in 2004 to make this resort country club setting truly spectacular. Guests can enjoy the enhanced, on-site championship golf course, state-of-the-art fitness center, and elegant restaurant and lounge. The resort also features two outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs, eight tennis courts, and laundry facilities.

Featuring roomy one- and two-story timeshare condo units, Indian Palms Vacation Club is the perfect retreat for golfers, or those looking for a quiet, relaxing escape from life's hustle and bustle. Each two bedroom unit features a queen bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the guest bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living area, fully equipped kitchen, and central air conditioning and heating.

Hailed as "America's Desert Playground" and a refuge for Hollywood's brightest stars, Palm Springs offers miles of palm-lined canyons, cascading waterfalls, desert flora, and big horn sheep. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway takes sightseers from the sun-drenched desert to snow-capped mountains. The popular Village is alive with a variety of restaurants, trendy shops, historic sites, and annual festivals. Towering in the background, the majestic Mt. San Jacinto offers hiking and horseback riding.

All the units have been updated in 2004-06. Not Gold Crown quality perhaps but it's a very nice, gated, clean, quiet facility – and it has the best golf value in the greater Palm Springs area. Close to several TOP golf courses and close to a nice casino.

We have stayed here twice as recently as Nov. '04. The units are clean and adequate. The staff friendly and helpful. It's a good place to use as a launching pad for all there is to do and see in the Palm Springs area, or to kick back and enjoy the sun. The pools are not large and one was cold.

If you're looking for glitz, this is definately not your place, however, it is in a beautiful gated country club and IS very safe. You can't beat the price anywhere in the valley.

A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX, GOLF AND ENJOY THE WEATHER. ROOMS ARE CLEAN. PROPERTIES ARE KEPT-UP ALONG WITH THE POOLS. NOT FOR KIDS BUT GREAT FOR GOLFERS.

We stayed at this resort last fall, not in this unit. Like he says, this resort is the oldest resort in the valley, and it shows. The unit was clean, but lacked many amenities, we had to get additional bedding and towels from the office, no dish washing soap nor soap in bathroom. Furniture old but ok. Only nice thing about this resort was the golf course. Not a Gold Crown Resort, and never will be. SORRY

Dumpy, had to change rooms 3 times to get one that wasn't torn up. Upgrading on the lobby was in progress but the units needed it desperately. I was a little nervous when we drove up and found bars on many of the unit windows. I found out why a few days later when a hotel down the street had police there with Hazmat teams to clean out a Drug Lab that had been set up in one of the rooms. Wouldn't suggest the area especially for families. The complex looked like low budget apartments down to the abandoned cars in the lot.

Great place to just relax and enjoy the mountain scenery in the Desert of California. Play golf or go for a swim, the Palm Trees are the Tallest in the area as this was the Presidential retreat for many years.
