Great little spot on the quiet size of the island. A hidden gem with great sunset views.

As owners of several 5 Star Resorts (Marriott,...), we rate the Coconut Beach resort at between a 3-4 star. We have 20+ years of timesharing in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Europe.

Beach is nice, but don't confuse this very small beach with Kauai or Puerto Vallarta . The first floor units do not provide much view. Coconut Beach is located in Key West, so do not expect a tropical island paradise.

My experience w paradise does not include the loud Sysco trucks idling at 5:00 - 6:00AM, the sleeping street people in the adjacent vacant lot, or the loud bar scene next door.

Paradise - not so much! We are going to give this place a pass!

Very little searching will easily discover more preferable experiences.

Generally well maintained, and "newbies" will be more excited than more experienced time share owners.

We stayed in a studio (C101A) June 24-July 1. My wife and I enjoyed the property very much. The resort is located on a quiet east end of the island. The resort is great for all groups (singles, families, couples, group of friends). We saw a good mix of all the groups. Our studio was very nice and close to the office, if any issues arose. Plenty of storage space in the unit (Wardrobe to hang clothes plus three drawers, as well as a large dresser with plenty of drawers). The studio included a recessed area in hall that contained the mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker, silverware, plates, cups, glasses, can opener, corkscrew, etc, etc. The bathroom contained a sink, toilet, and glass shower. Only drawback is my wife would have liked a bathtub (think the 1and 2 bedroom units have a full tub). The resort is quiet and our neighbors were very nice, no loud noises after 10PM. It is very easy to walk to Duval (about four blocks). Mallory Square and much of the tourist attractions are at the far end of Duval Street. Easy to walk if not in a hurry, or scooters and bicycles may be rented (Tropical Scooters had the best prices and are only five blocks from the resort). Louie's Backyard is next door and is a very nice restaurant and bar. It is a bit pricey, but the food is wonderful. We eat there at least once every time we visit Key West (once a year). Dog Beach is next to Louie's backyard, and it is fun to watch the dogs and the owners play in the water and on the small beach. We would definitely stay at Coconut Beach Resort again.

Key West is the most unque city I have ever visited. Coconut Beach Resort is the best! The resort is well kept with large rooms and very nice furnishings. The large pool & jacuzzi & sunning area has enough room for everyone. And then there is the PRIVATE BEACH! It is a vacation memory you will never forget. The resort is quiet, family & couple oriented.

Paradise found. Relax smell the sea feel the breeze and sip margaritas on the chaise loungers. Great place. Well worth every penny!
