5625 West Tropicana Ave.
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, North America 89103

Club de Soleil is located on West Tropicana Avenue, just a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Touted as Vegas' first garden-setting vacation ownership resort, Club de Soleil offers French-Mediterranean-style one- and two-bedroom timeshare accommodations. All units feature king-size beds, air conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, and a kitchenette in two-bedroom lock-off units.

Escape from the desert heat in the resort's pool. On cooler days, head outdoors for some exercise on the tennis court. Club de Soleil also offers a clubhouse, exercise room, and hot tub.

Be sure to take advantage of Club de Soleil's free shuttle service to select casinos on the Strip. Experience the magnitude of the Bellagio fountains, the thrill of Treasure Island's pirate show, and extensive shopping at Caesars Palace. For a night out on the town, you can't beat Vegas shows such as the Blue Man Group, and Cirque de Soleil.

This is not a luxury resort. The pictures are very misleading. There are two separate complexes about a block apart. They are basically refurbished apartment buildings. Ammenities listed are not available at both complexes. It was clean for the most part, but needs renovation and updating. Staff was pleasant and helpful, but generally still a disappointment.

We really did enjoy staying in the one bedroom unit. We've stayed three other times and have been very impressed with the staff --- very quick to meet all of our needs. The shuttle to the strip was very convenient too. Great place to stay!

I spent the Memorial Day Week (May 22-29) at the Club de Soleil. I had stayed there two years ago, and fell in love with this resort. I was so impressed with this resort that I purchased a 2BR unit in March. The unit I stayed in was sparkling clean and the grounds were well kept. My only complaint was the the TV's....they were not the newer wide screen variety. Other than this, nothing looked outdated or in need of being replaced. The units are very spacious and can be split into two separate units, thanks to a lockoff door. Absolutely no problem or waiting while checking in or out, and very friendly service. Although a car would be a great idea if you are staying here, they did provide transportation to the strip. The best thing about owning at this resort is that you can split your timeshare into two units for vacation purposes. Also you can split these two units into two separate vacations of 4 and 3 days giving you the option of taking four different trips to Vegas, should you choose to do so. You can also use one side and bank the other. All things considered, this is a great resort to own or rent while in Vegas.

The only reason I give it a 4* is the distance to the strip. I just returned from CDS and was very happy. The staff was courteous, the conditon of the facility was flawless. The rooms were spotless. The mattresses were replaced last May and the beds were so comfortable.

I didn't take advantage of the free shuttles as I rented a car (I always rent a car in Vegas). It is very close to 3 grocery stores (within 1/2 mile) and The Orleans (3/4 mile). All in all, I really liked how quiet this place was. It was totally booked 2 of my nights and it seemed empty, very peaceful.

Property needs updating, and noticed wasn't daily maintained like it could/should. It is not convenient to the strip, but shuttles appeared to be regular and an alternative. Shuttle times don't extend late enough, but better than nothing. Had no problems or issues the week we were there. Had a one bedroom, a studio, and another family member in another one bedroom. Pool was small and no separation for children/adults. Just a little "tired", but overall decent space, condition, etc. No pressure for sales, etc.

FANTASTIC resort. Very Clean, convenient and comfortable. Staff very congenial and helpful. Pool, tennis courts, exercise room, beautiful lobby. Near everything without being right on The Strip (just a few blocks off of it), extremely convenient to I15 and I 215, the major highways. Keeps you from travelling up and down the crowded "strip," Las Vegas Boulevard. The shuttle is frequent, comfortable bus and helpful drivers. You don't HAVE to take the "tour," but it's fun. You DO have to pay a nominal fee to use the intenet near the main lobby.

Many area sights to visit: Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, cool Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley. Enough shows in town to keep you busy for weeks.

Amenities, furnishings, grounds all impeccable.

Great for families as well as couples. I cannot imagine how some people have given this great resort anything except the highest reviews.

Stayed 04-26-2008 through 05-03-2008.

Pass this place by.Stayed here Nov.29-to dec.5 2007,and paid $330.00 for a smoke smeelly apt. They should tear it down and start over. The furniture is outdated,in terrible condition, not the cleanest place in town. The promotion desk uses the bait and switch tactic to get you to view their timeshare at the Tahiti. They gave us tickets to shows that were closed at that time..We paid $40.00 for one show plus the 2+ hours that we lost at the timeshare presentatiopn. Not a good move by us at all.

Great place. The shuttle was very convenient. Very quiet property. Breakfast and Memorial Day Luncheon was great. Saved lots of $$$ on cabs and meals. I was never pressured by sales person. I will revisit one day.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodations, weather, hospitality, location, and trades so easily to allow me to travel to other locations, literally around the globe.

Stayed here in November. It was clean, but more like a Motel 6 with a kitchen. DEFINITELY NOT A 5 STAR resort. This is my first timeshare experience, as we were given a week by a friend. If they are all like this, I have no interest in purchasing one. I would have rather stayed at a nice Hotel.

WE HAVE RENTED at CLUB DE SOLEIL 4 TIMES WITHIN THE LAST YEAR (JULY 05 TO OCT. 06), AND REALY ENJOYED STAYING THERE. THE ONLY FALL BACK IS THAT THEY WANT YOU TO GO ON A TOUR OF THERE NEW PLACE-TIKI VILLAGE. DID IT ONCE THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH. PLEASE NO MORE PRESSURE!

This is not a 5 star resort. The pool is small with nothing for the children to do. They say they have a babysitting referral program, but they don't. A little bit too far from the strip. The units are small compared to Marriott and not as nicely furnished. Very noisy even when you lay out by the pool. It was very clean. The kitchen is extremely small; two people can not be in there at one time. I would not trade here again.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the action and yet be able to get away from the strip. The rooms are great and the people are friendly.

I stayed there 3/4/06-3/11/06. This is NOT a 5 star resort. Over 4 miles from the strip but they do have shuttle service to 4 casinos. It is so remote that I felt like I wasn't even in Las Vegas. Room was clean and maintained but I would never go there again. A/C was so loud it keeps you up at night. No water pressure. Tried to request extra pillows but they never came. Beware of the many, many sales people. They hound you. Way too expensive for what you get.

I haven't been to this resort, but when I called the phone number on the radio promo for it, I got called a b**** by the salesperson because I asked her (nicely) whether this resort had a website where I could find more information. Unbelievable! I can only imagine how the customer service would be onsite...

This resort is not close to the strip, you need a car for this area. It is not a five * Resort, the grounds and units, work, from the early 1970's. This not the Marriott or the Hilton, beware for the time sales pitch, lots of reps.

This "resort" is not worthy of a five star rating by II. Unfriendly welcoming staff more interested in pushing timeshare sales appointments. Bathroom amentities/fixtures/fit and finish not up to Motel Six quality (Shower w/inadequate pressure, leaky toilet, sink is barely large enough for small dog). TV has no VCR or DVD player. No internet access without fee. Tahiti shuttle buses back up beepers in constant use outside your room. Garbage truck wakes you up early twice a week. Room was clean and maid staff friendlier than welcome staff. Fitness room is an afterthought. Pool and jacuzzi are nice. For being off Strip, to earn a five star rating a resort must go above and beyond. But even using standard criteria this resort falls way short. If Marriott owner use to five star Marriott quality, wait for Club de Soleil's new resort opening in 2006 (Tahiti Village) or buy Marriott's newest on strip villa (Grande Chateau). Review applies to Phase One of Villas

We stayed for the week of 8-6-04 in a two bedroom lockout. Here is the postive and the negative about our trip. The place had a home feel to it. The rooms had alot of amenities. I love the convenience of having a washer and a dryer. We had a few bad incidents. We had blood stains in our sheets. The air conditioner was too loud and the water in the bathroom comes out real slow, not much power. It's a real expensive timeshare resort, so you need to bargain hunt if your going to rent here. Everything else was nice, but I wouldn't own here. Too expensive

We stayed here Sept. 17-24. Overall not bad, but can't compare to the Marriott resorts we've stayed at. We had a one BR unit, with a pool view, in phase I of the complex. The BR was decent size, but the living area was significantly smaller than what we are used to. Bathroom was okay, but there was some sloppily repaired water damage around the tub. Tub is a combined shower/two person whirlpool. Separate tub and shower would be nicer.

The pool was nice, but kind of small also. Staff kept it nice and clean, along with the hot tub. Definite downside in the pool area: Constant blaring of some local oldies radio station, playing the same 5 songs from the 50's and 60's over and over. It was really annoying. The clientele is definitely older here, we only saw one other couple around our age (30s) the entire week. Most of the other folks looked to be retirees (not that there's anything wrong with that!). The grounds were reasonably well kept, though we did see some empty bottles and cans here and there.

Location: about 2 miles west of the Strip on Tropicana Avenue. Definitely try to stay in Phase 1 if you go here. Phase 2 is newer, but is right on busy Tropicana Avenue, which is noisy and has lots of traffic. It is directly across from a trailer park, so not exactly the nicest views. Phase 1 is on a side street, so it is much quieter.

Staff was generally very pleasant and attentive. We did attend a sales presentation for a new development they are doing, which will be right on the strip, just south of Mandalay Bay. Looks like it will be nice, but the units are vastly overpriced.

We liked Club De Soleil, but I don't think we'd stay there again.

We stayed here Aug. 8 thru Aug. 14, 2004. What a great place! We took another couple with us, total 4 adults, and stayed in a two bedroom unit. Both the master bath and lock- off unit had huge showers/whirl pool tubs. The place was large enough that we were never in each others way. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We arrived a day late, so check-in was very quick. We can't say how smoothly it would have been had we checked in on Saturday. The lobby was packed when we checked out ( on Saturday ). The shuttle ran constantly but would suggest renting a car, as we did, because parking is free everywhere and you'll get a lot more sight seeing done this way. This was an absolutely wonderful trip and look forward to staying here again. Note: Las Vegas is deathly HOT in August. It was up to 120 degrees one of the days we were there! Don't let that keep you away though....just drink lots of water and stay indoors during the afternoon. There is certainly enough to keep you entertained.

Beautiful, loved it. No problems what so ever each time we have stayed there.

Large units compared to those we've traded to in past. Very clean and quite. Shuttle service nice but prefer to rent a car (all hotels offer free valet parking). Never crowded. You can see the strip from the resort but not all rooms in the resort, nice and quite resort.
