Windjammer Resort & Beach Club

Last year at this time I was fortunate to purchase a 2 bedroom from an original owner who had been going there for over 25 years for 4 weeks in a row (weeks 5, 6, 7 & 8 - the month of Feb.) at the Windjammer and this was the first time that I got to use them and have just returned home. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The resort is impeccably clean (rooms are serviced daily) the staff is very accomadating, and this resort has been managed by first her mother and now the daughter, Diane for over 30 years. It is exceptionally well managed as if it was their own home, and with the owners & guests best interests in mind. Yes, the bedrooms are small and it is NOT a party place but you get, Location! Location! Location! Right on the ocean. You are one block away from the Town Square at Lauderdale-By-The-Sea where you have free live music Friday & Sat. evenings with lots of great eating, drinking, shopping & confection places in close proximity. My wife and I would highly recommend this resort for a nice quiet get-a-way to responsible people who enjoy getting out, as well as walking in a nice safe community. We tip our hats to all the staff, and we are looking forward to being there next year. Dan & Darlene
