Sea Mist Resort is situated equally between Falmouth Center and Hyannis. On-site amenities include a clubhouse, indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, basketball, tennis, mini golf, games room, hot tub, and saunas. About five miles away are the beach and Nantucket Sound. Local marinas offer equipment rentals, deep-sea charters, and excursions to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Island. Countless antiques stores, crafts shops, and art galleries make Cape Cod a souvenir hunter's delight, and if you love seafood, there's no better place to be. With over 1,000 acres of conservation land, this area is home to a new wildlife refuge, and boasts miles of biking and hiking trails. Visit Waquoit and Popponesset Bays, which offer four of the largest freshwater ponds on the Cape. This is an area rich in beauty, history and activities.

We've stayed here many times, and own 2 summer weeks. The location is convenient, the staff friendly, and the rooms comfortable. We've stayed at other resorts close by (Cape Winds Holiday Estates) and this resort puts them to shame.
Look for kitchen and bathroom remodels in 2009 (much needed and happilly welcomed). Recommend attending unit owners' meeting on Monday or Tuesday morning to get all the updates.
Have a great trip.

Have been an owner for 4 years. It's clean comfortable for our stays a week at a time. A great family oriented resort. Friendly people and helpful staff. Something for kids of all ages.

Nice location .. near the Mashpee Commons that has a few restaurants, ice cream shop, lots of shops and a movie theatre. South Cape Beach (a few miles away) was beautiful. Pomponesset Marketplace (in New Seabury) was a fun place to go, entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Top floor units are large with large decks.

Stayed in 2BR unit in Aug 2002. Unit was comfortable but not luxurious. Indoor pool and hot tub was very nice for inclement weather, outdoor pool was warm and had a shallow area for kiddies as well as a 12' deep area for swimming and diving. During peak season the pool was pretty crowded - a bit too small for the resort size - but it was so beastly hot here last August no one seemed to mind much. We preferred to spend our days at the ocean beach just a few miles away.
Overall our stay was pleasant and we would go back. I will say that the staff at the front desk could use some lessons in customer service. Initially they checked us into a unit that wasn't cleaned, and they all but accused us of lying about it when we went back to the front desk to report it. Only after they sent someone to confirm it was dirty did they acquiesce and give us another unit. The second unit was nicer (second floor) so in the end we were pleased with what we got.
We usually stay in the Brewster area so Mashpee was new to us. We liked the area and found the resort well-located to take in Cape activities. A trip to Woods Hole was fun. A visit to the Heritage Plantation in Sandwich is a must. Enjoy!

Stayed there for a weeked--rooms were large, but dark & dated. Recent renovations may fix what we thought were pretty spartan furnishings. Miniature golf course was a good idea, but it is in terrible condition.
