Description

Set in the west central mountains of Idaho, not far from the Oregon border, Timberlake offers unlimited recreational and sight-seeing possibilities. Located on the edge of Payette Lake, the resort is just east of Hells Canyon National Recreation Area which offers camping, hiking, and fishing. Private balconies provide spectacular lake views and the lake itself offers boating, sailing, and water skiing facilities. Golf, tennis, and horseback riding are also available nearby. The resort has its own seasonal outdoor pool, and access to a boat dock and sandy beach. Just 8 miles away, Payette Lake Ski Hill and Brundage Mountain provide excellent white powder skiing and snowboarding. Ice skating, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and lift access snow tubing are also popular winter pastimes. Timberlake Condos are within a short distance from Ponderosa State Park and the famous U.S. Forest Service Smokejumpers Base. These spectacular areas are not to be missed. In the quaint town of McCall, you will find unique shopping, restaurants, historical sites, and galleries. This year round vacation mecca is a wonderful destination choice.
