We JUST returned from Massanutten from a Spring Break "2007" trip. I took my family of 8 and we had a 4 bedroom/4 bath (upper/lower units). The kids absolutely LOVED it. The "indoor" waterpark is so wonderful. On the days we did not snow tube, we went to the water park. Oh yeah, and it snowed several inches the day we arrived and the entire place was snow plowed, etc. and not a flurrie on the roads/parking areas... Snow ball fights were the FIRST activity during our stay while WE were unpacking the car. Don't expect to relax in the INDOOR water park unless you are on a lazy river tube! ha ha My kids were so worn out by the end of the day it was funny... We saw lots of deer and the kids loved that too. It was freezing the first of the week and warm at the end. That was a perfect week. The go karts are open now according to weather as well as putt putt. We love that place and it only gets better. There's also an outdoor water park now. AND, I hear there's plans for an extension of that same water park. So with all that said, WE CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN!!! Enjoy Massanutten! We always do.

When considering the DOZENS of resorts that we've visited, Massanutten is one of the most incredible we've ever experienced. Our family LOVES this resort so much that we decided to purchase a year-round vacation home located next to the snow-tubing park/golf range!!!
The waterpark is scheduled to open in October 2005 & the Massanutten Property Homeowners Association (year-round property owner assoc.) is now proposing construction of a go-cart track & batting cages!
Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter activities include: championship golf courses, 3 outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools, health clubs, spas, family movie nights, on-site entertainment, trout-stocked ponds, playgrounds, over dozen tennis & basketball courts, indoor racquetball courts & a gymnasium, horse back riding stables, 2 championship MINI GOLF courses, mountain biking, skiing, snow tubing, games rooms with billiards, air hockey, pinball.

The resort is huge and a car is needed to get around. Very nice scenery and wildlife throughout the resort. Lots of activities available. Nearby are Skyline Drive, Monticello, Michie Tavern, Luray Caverns, and Ashlawn-Highland. There is something for all ages.
Our unit, although not luxurious, was clean and larger than others we've stayed in.

My teenagers and I just returned from our stay at Eagle's Trace. We love it there. The accomadations were very clean and up to date. There are a lot of activities but everything shuts down at 9:00. The location is great. Your are in the mountains yet 15 minutes away from town. The one draw back;SALES. Even though I am an owner they took 3 hours of my time by saying I was going to fill out some phoney survey about the water park. I am getting ready to write them about my dissatisfaction with this. Otherwise had a great week.

Amazing resort. So much too do. We were there between Christmas and New Year's 2003. Man-made snow for skiing and tubing plus golfing, crafts, shows and wonderful sports complexes. The activity card for $99 is well worth it and provides you with many free activities to choose from, plus discounts on others. We can't wait to go back.

Great resort. We enjoyed a week in May and a week in Sept. 2002 We are thinking of buying because it is such a wonderful resort for families and close to our home in Ontario, Canada. You can do everything or just sit and read and enjoy the breathtaking views from the deck. We own at a ski resort in Collingwood, Ontario but this resort is fantastic and they let us bring in our Honda goldwing bike after it passed the noise test. I highly recommend this resort.

Great get-away location within striking distance of the Shennandoah, Blue Ridge, Manassas, Charlottesville, and even DC -- an area with a rich historical tradition and natural beauty. Four season resort, though ski season is short and very unpredictable. Accomodations and ammenities are very nice.

great central location. stay right in the mountains or drive 31/2 hrs. on interstate to enjoy a beach day. 20 minutes away from harrisonburg with all major stores and foods.
Full day's activity on site with many outdoor pools in the summer or indoor activities and pools in the fall. Winter offers great snow slopes. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful.

Great to go anytime of the year. We usually go during summer to enjoy the three outdoor pools but not the scorching heat of the beach. There are plenty of activities too. Horse back riding, canoeing, tubing, golf, mini golf etc. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very attentive. A nearby town offers anything you need. Also a short drive to a lot of history, Monticello, Mont Pellier, Washington D.C., Williamsburg, three different caverns. A must go.
