Monte Vista Village Resort

This Resort was not what it seemed at first drive in but after seeing our accomodations, resort amminities, facitilities and activities, it did not take us long to absolutely fall in love with it.

The manufactured detached home we stayed in came equipped with everything. Full kitchen, w/d, yards, 2 baths, patio furniture, even 2 bycicles. The staff were the friendliest we have ever experienced. We didn't even get asked to go to a timeshare meeting. The other guest became friends quickly. Monte Vista is centrally located to Scottsdale for great shopping, Cubs spring training & the Phx. Open. We could go to the red rocks of Sedona, the Grand Canyon and more outdoor activities that I could state. Georgious facilities with happy hours in the courtyards with live entertainment, multi media rooms, billiards, all kinds of scheduled crafts you could even play a round of Golf every weekday at different nearby courses. I played tennis on one of their 10 courts, worked out in the state of the are fitness center, went for a sauna well I could go on and on.

This is not your typical timeshare resort. The homes are manufactured homes but you would never know it. Open spacious rooms with vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, 3 T.V.s, VCR, CD players even comes with board games. I can honestly say I have never stayed in nicer RCI accomodations. It's a regular home with private covered parking. The new Village Center Shops will have onsite groceries, restaurants, hair/nail salon, bars/grills, banks everything you could possibly want.

We will certainly go to this resort again and recommend it to our friends and family. We may even purchase a 2nd home for the winter.

Just a warning. This resort is a mobile home/trailer park. There are mobile homes scattered throughout the park designated as "timeshares"

Would not consider staying at this one.
