This is a great resort. It would be a 5 star if they had not been renovating a large number of units when we were there in May 2008. The staff are excellent. There is daily maid service and the renovated rooms are very pleasant. We stayed in a one bedroom which was part of a lock off and it had great amenities and style.

The location is one of the best in New Orleans in the French quarter close to Canal and two blocks from Bourbon St. While the French Quarter survived Katrina very well and is back to normal, take the Katrina bus tour and you can see the extent to which the City was and is still damaged and the efforts to re-build. The food and entertainment are still outstanding.

Great location and units are nicely furnished. The location can not be beaten, and the units are quiet (especially shocking since the resort is in the Quarter). The resort is nicely secured (access controlled at night). You can walk to anywhere in the Quarter, and to most other locations: Frenchman's Street, Harrah's, the Aquarium, etc. etc. Can not say enough about this resort. You will not find a better resort in New Orleans or anywhere else for that matter. Stayed there most recently in Jan. 2006, and we plan to return in the Fall of 2006.

Beautifully decorated unit, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location. The courtyard is a peaceful place to relax, listen to the fountain, and read the paper. We'd definitely stay here again.

Located in the first block off of Canal Street, this resort wins hands down for best locality to several fine restaurants, just two streets over from Bourbon Street, and 2.5 blocks from the riverwalk where the Aquarium, Harrah's Casino, and the Canal Shoppes awaits you. I was there for seven days and only drove my car once.

The Quarter House don't have a parking garage, but use one nearby. It costs $15 a day and that's a discount! It was only a block away, but when it's raining, even that's too far. There aren't many amenities or activities located on- site due to so much going around the area.

I would suggest staying here if you want to be close to everything and don't want to bother with transportation. Otherwise, with a slight inconvenience of no parking garage attached, it can be a problem when it's raining.

They also charge $.75 to use one washer and dryer located in the laundry room. On Saturday- Monday mornings, continental breakfast is served. Maid service is provided every day as well, which was very nice.

This resort is located in the perfect location for visiting New Orleans, you will not need a car. It is within walking distance to everything, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, Riverwalk and Harrah's Casino. You will not get bored visiting New Orleans. Make sure to book reservations early to all famous restaurants in the area, so you can get in. There is entertainment everywhere, great Jazz and Irish Pubs and don't forget Bourbon Street.

We have been going to New Orleans on vacation now and staying at this resort for over 6 years now, and thinking of adding on more weeks. The Quarter House has all the New Orleans charm of the French Quarter. The staff is always very nice and very helpful.

A great opportunity came our way last year to purchase a one bedroom unit at The Quarter House, sight unseen. We knew it was a great location, liked everything we read about QH and everyone gave it great reviews. So we took a educated gamble & feel like we hit the jackpot on this one.

We love the Quarter House, the location is excellent and the staff is very willing to help in any way they can. The Old World decor gives QH character, warmth and beauty of another era with all the modern conveniences. This is what makes it so special. We would highly recommend The Quarter House to anyone.

We stayed there in March 2003. The rooms were extremely small. We kept tripping over each other just to get dressed. I was jolted in the middle of the night with a loud scream-a huge roach was crawling over a young girl who was with my family. The front desk refused to move us.

There were wires hanging down from the front of the TV set and the place smelled musty.

Quarter House is in great shape since Katrina - if anyone is worried about it - don't be. Most of the same staff is back, the Quarter is back with wonderful food & drinks! The Quarter House is just as good as ever.

We have owned at the Quarter House for 8 years. Traded once for Orlando and it was a major disappointment. We also go to the Quarter House when we are on business in New Orleans and also for long weekends. We will never stay anywhere in New Orleans except the Quarter House. The majority of the staff have been there for years and years and are always extremely friendly and helpful. This is probably one of the best timeshares on the market.

"The best 5 Star Resort in the French Quarters". I have been an owner for 4 years. I've never traded my week at the Quarter House, and never will. I choose to pay for another hotel if I go some place else. Thats how great this place is. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love it so much I bought a 2 bedroom unit, and plan on bringing more family and friends to New Orleans because of how beautiful the Quarter House is, and how much there is to do, both in and out of the French Quarters. What a wonderful place!

rented from owner 5th floor penthouse suite during week 10...the place is GREAT, considering you're in new orleans and all accomodations there are teenie-weenie...i'm from texas, and this place is neither teenie or weenie...if i were to buy here, i would buy fifth floor even number room, as these are the penthouse rooms according to maid service, which is "spoil-you-rotten" wonderful! gold crown deservedly...not a joke...would DEFINITELY stay here again

I love the Quarter House. It's in a great location in the French Quarter. The rooms, hallways and corridors have original interior brick walls - absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with tasteful antique furnishings. We've stayed many places in the French Quarter, but this remains our favorite!

Whenever I trade my week from the Quarter House to another resort, I always feel as though I traded down. The Quarter House is incredible -- the rooms, the staff and the amenities offered are top notch.

In New Jersey, many people ask me if I go to Mardi Gras. I explain to them that although Mardi Gras is grand, every week night and weekend is a celebration in the Big Easy!
