We have just returned from Oakmont Resort. We just love this resort. We have owned here for 18 years. It has great trading power. We own week 42, great week to stay, Dollywood just a few miles away. All the Outlet Shopping you can dream of. Very convienent for location to all activies and shows. Kitchen was stocked well.

We fell in love with Oakmont Resort a long time ago. It could not be in a better location. All the shows, outlet malls, and even Dollywood are just minutes away. The staff and cleanliness of the resort are great. This is an older resort but still ranks among the better resorts. It's one of our favorites.

My family of six visited this resort in december 06 after purchasing it resale. We were pleased with our purchase. The resort is an older resort and can do with a bit of sprucing up but it is in a great location and within walking distance to many shops and some attractions such as THE OLD MILL. The staff was friendly enough and the ammenities were satisfactory. This is not our first choice when it comes to vacationing but is not bad.

This resort is great. We have stayed there on several occasions as an exchange with RCI. The units are nice and roomy. They are always very clean. Nice pool. Good activities for kids. Would stay at this resort again.

Nice, small resort. We have owned here for many years. These units are fantastic in trading value. We have often traded to 5Star units with Oakmont.
These are excellent units for the visitor who is always on the go or who simply requires the peace and calm of the mountains.
Very few rental opportunities occur due to frequent owner use. Friendly staff and excellent cleaniness.

Great Family Vacaiton area for all ages of
children. Our kids are grown, but this was the
best area, for a family of five teenagers too.
The resort has great things to do in the area,
horseback riding, tubing down the beautiful
mountain streams, gold mining, white water
river rafting. The strip has endless fun things
putt-putt golfing, amusement rides, great shop
ping outlets, walking distance to the Old Mill
and restauraunts. Fly away, parachuting, all
the kids tried plus bungee jumping if you dare.
Clean, updated and just a great family week.

Good location for Pigeon Forge activities. Resort was quiet. Personnel friendly. Slow time of year made resort activities almost non- existant. Other than kitchen being extremely small everything else was plenty roomy. Supplies and furnishings were adequate. Resort appeared to be rather old but well kept. Would recommend due mainly to location.

The resort is located about a half mile from the main road through Pigeon Forge so that the road noise is not a problem, but it is very convenient to get in and out of.
It is a relatively small resort (7 buildings, 148 units), and the staff is friendly. I would describe the units as small and cozy, but not so small as to feel cramped. The units are clean and well furnished and the kitchens, while small enough to definitely be a 1-person kitchen, are well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and appliances. The master bath in each unit has a whirlpool tub, and there are gas grills located just outside each building. There are outdoor and indoor pools, a fitness center, sauna, hot tub, a putting green, and a playground on the resort grounds.
There is a lot to do in the area, so you need not spend a lot of time at the resort, but the activities staff does do a good job. Discounted tickets to various local attractions can be obtained through the activities department.
You should try to attend the Monday meeting, where representatives of the various attractions in the area make presentations. Another good event is the weekly pot-luck dinner, where the resort provides the meat and the owners bring a passing dish. The resort also has a local musician come in to provide entertainment during the pot-luck.

11/02 The resort unit was exceptionally clean. Kitchen was compact but had everything you'd want even salt and pepper shakers. We had some stairs to get to and from the unit but understand there are units available on ground level. Numerous activities for children and adults. Was looking forward to Wed. potluck( usually on Thurs. but that was Thanksgiving), It was cancelled- too few signed up. Location of resort is great-- close driving to Dollywood, all shows, and outlets. A short walk to the trolley station. Resort staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We attended the timeshare seminar they had at Treetops Resort and I found it to be the most informative, honest presentation I've ever attended. Had a great time. The cities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were all lit up with holiday lights for Winterfest.
