Our first visit was an exchange, and we liked it
so much we bought! Visited 4 times so far, once
with 4 kids, and enjoyed every visit.
Friendliest island resort we've been to, and
seeing the same staff each visit makes it feel
like a "home away from home".
It's not as glamorous as the Atlantis next door
(we have guest privileges to use their beaches
and pools) but it's clean and comfortable. Staff
and fellow vacationers are very friendly. Great
location; 5 minute walk to casino, shopping,
restaurants and ferry; optional daily activities
planned
by resort. Rose Island cruise on Tuesday is a
must!

Above is my original review from 2005. We used to love this place but we had to get rid of it. The long term staff is gracious, but the ownership is outrageously greedy and despicable. Money is raked out of the resort for the owner and the place is falling apart. They started special assessment fees and nothing was ever updated. There is no accountability as it is privately owned. The staff was owed back wages, and their payroll deductions for health care and Christmas club/ savings clubs disappeared (several articles over the years in island newspapers). Lots of timeshare owners had issues, many being sued over fees. Atlantis wanted to buy the property but they refused to sell. I haven’t kept up with news since I legally ended my timeshare several years back, so maybe there've been positive changes. Great location and staff, So it’s a shame it went downhill. Do your research before booking.
