The resort is located within a few minutes of four golf courses, Ski Apache, a casino with Las Vegas-style gambling, Ruidoso Downs Horse Track, and miles of hiking trails. Afterwards, enjoy browsing in the many unique shops in the downtown area. Watch the horses run the nearby racetrack or visit The Museum of the Horse. You'll love the secluded, serene atmosphere nestled in the mountains, surrounded by tall Ruidoso pines. Don't be surprised to find deer, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels and other wildlife in the front yard! There are four large hot tubs on site and large private patios with gas grill. Units feature full kitchen and laundry, fireplaces and panoramic views.

This is a very pleasant resort nestled high in the mountains of southeastern New Mexico. The resort is somewhat short on amenities, but there is plenty to do in the area.

A short drive from the property is the villiage of Ruidoso offering hundreds of souvenir shops and unique restaruants.

About 20 miles away is Ski Apache with a 1900 foot vertical rise, 11 lifts and 55 trails. In the summer, the hiking and fishing are excellent. For the less athletically inclined, there is full Vegas-style casino gaming at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.
