Description

High Sierra is a family-oriented resort located atop Camelot Mountain overlooking Ruidoso. At the resort, enjoy the lighted tennis court and the clubhouse with an indoor pool, sauna, and whirlpool. All types of back-to-nature pastimes, including fishing, horseback riding, and hiking, are available in the area. In addition, Ruidoso offers fine golf facilities. In winter, Ski Apache is known for its excellent powder skiing, at an elevation of 12,000 feet and with a vertical drop of 1,900 feet. Gambling and bingo are available at the Apache Reservation. In the town of Ruidoso, enjoy several unique shops, art galleries and fine dining. Ruidoso is becoming one of the leading vacation spots in the Southwest, with its vast array of landscape and its mild climate.

Staff very helpful. It is an older unit and needs some upkeep which they have started on. Has some wonderful black bears.
