Situated on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Sands Resort welcomes rental and timeshare guests to enjoy their beautiful lake-side property. Lounge on the sandy private beach or by the pool in the summer, or take away the winter chill in the jacuzzi tub and sauna. On-site movie rentals, weekly activities, and a helpful staff keep excess travel to a minimum.
Tahoe Sands Resort offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom timeshare accommodations. Studio units sleep two to four and feature a full size Murphy bed, sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette with microwave, two burner stove, and mini refrigerator. One and two-bedroom units feature a queen bed in each bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living area, and either a kitchenette or full size kitchen.
The entire family can spend an enjoyable day at Tahoe Vista Recreation Area near Tahoe Sands Resort. This 108-acre park has kayak rentals, a four person bungee tower, a popular beach area, and more. After working up an appetite, head across the street to the award-winning Blue Onion Deli for a sandwich, gourmet pizza, or handmade chocolates.

We stayed here for a week in July 2007 - our 3rd time here. Nothing fancy, but the location was great!

This is an exceptional resort located right on the lake in Lake Tahoe. It is near casinos, restaurants, and ski resorts. Nice to walk out your front door and be right on the sand. The views are great and the weather exceptional.
I highly recommend this resort to any and all.
