Just bought a second week here. I own 2 cottage units and just love this place. A pleasant walk over a wooden bridge leads to a nice sandy beach. It feels like real Cape Cod here. The resort is situated in a residential area, but only about a mile to town. Free internet access is now available. Colonial Acres is only open from the middle of April through Thanksgiving week.

We own week 47 at a 2 bedroom cottage. It is a great time to be there during Thanksgiving week. It is exactly what you would imagine a Cape Cod Cottage to be like. Several times we have had Thanksgiving Dinner at Plimouth Plantation and other times have prepared it ourselves in our full kitchen. It is a wonderful kick off to start Christmas shopping and is still mild enough to walk on the quiet beach everyday.

We have owned a 2-bedroom, 1-bath, full kitchen cottage since 1996, week 31. Resort is very low- key, relaxing and quiet. Short walk to beach on Lewis Bay - water is shallow and warm, great for kids. Bring water shoes though.

Green grassy areas for kids to play as well as a playground. There are planned activities every day for the kids and grown-ups that are quite fun (tie-dye t-shirts, gel candle making, etc.) Ice cream social and bingo; movies to rent for $1. Large indoor pool has shallow end for youngsters but is deep enough for grownups. Workout room, laundry room.

Resort is located at end of a dead end residential road, away from the sirens and traffic of busy Route 28 but still close enough to head out for shopping, great meals or mini- golfing. Pirate's Cove mini-golf is great fun!

There is lots to see and do on the Cape and Colonial Acres is very centrally located. The resort abuts a large piece of conservation land, so no noisy neighbors. Cottontail bunnies, turtles, blue herons, all can be seen every morning and evening.

Daily trash collection and fresh towels delivered. Staff is very accomodating.

We love it here and look forward to coming every year!

We own two units--week 26, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6, and week 33, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 8. Both units are two stories, with a patio on the ground floor and a balcony on the second floor. There are two large, full bathrooms in each unit, and the rooms are a comfortable size. In addition to offering on-site activities, the resort is close to all shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, and you can reach any part of the Cape within an hour or less. We've owned there for six years and LOVE IT!!

I own a 1 bedroom which is comfortable with a bay view from the deck. Nice feature is that resort is at the end of a road off the main road so that it is peaceful without traffic.

Cottages are very nice, mine is a one bedroom, sleep 4. Each cottage has it's own picnic table and grill outside with a few chairs also. Pool is ok. Massage table and hot tub are ok also. Staff is very nice. For overnight stays, the original motel rooms are nice and accomdating

Short walk to the beach, but it is often very windy, water is very shallow and I have never seen a lifeguard there.

This is a former motel converted over to timesharing. The rooms are nice ,but, very small. It's on the ocean ,but, you have to walk over a bridge to get to the beach.
