With the remodeling and updates everything is great!!! I loved the fact that I was able to go hiking and boating and relax. I also was able to go see the waterfalls nearby which were beautiful. I really needed to relax and that is exactly what I did. My son went fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. This was a new vacation style for us and definetly one that I could more often.

Unit was huge and quite nice. If you don't have a car, don't go. There are lots of things to do in the area but you'll need to drive to get to them. The pool was big and well kept. It was a great place to just relax and unwind. We usually stay at a beach resort and this was a surprisingly nice change.

We stayed in a unit here for one night in route to another timeshare in N.C.

The unit we stayed in was fantastic. It looked to have been recently reburbished and the furnishings were new as was the bedspreads and the floor coverings. I was pleasantly surprised. There was a cute little free standing red fireplace in the living room. The unit had 3 patios - one from the master bedroom, one from the guest bedroom downstairs and a wooden balcony upstairs off the living/dining room.

The resort is in a lovely mountainous and wooded area, and although somewhat isolated there are many things to see within driving distance. If you want rest, this is the place to get it. We were there the last week of October and the trees were gorgeous in their fall colors.

56 thousand acre Lake Hartwell is right down the road and The Chattooga River (where the movie 'Deliverance' was filmed) is 15 miles from Westminster for great scenery, white water rafting or picnicking. There are several whitewater rafting companies in the area.

We were here Oct 17 to 24, 2003. There were mouse droppings in the cupboards and under the sinks. Housekeeping in other areas {such as window washing and clean up after painting} was very lax. We liked the area but would not return to this resort. The furnishings seemed to be fairly nice, but upkeep certainly was lacking. We were in unit 16 C

We own a summer week at Kinston Manor. We really enjoyed our stay there. This was our first year at our resort. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was being repaired, but we saw it finished before we left and it was very nice. We're looking forward to using it next year.

The outdoor pool is huge and warm. The people are very friendly and it's a very relaxing place to go if you just want to unwind from the daily hustle and bustle. There are a lot of places of interest you can drive to. Six Flags Over Georgia is about 1-1/2 hrs. away and worth the trip. Atlanta is very nice too. There are plenty of waterfalls and whitewater rafting as well as river tubing nearby. Lake Hartwell is very nice and a great place to take a picnic lunch and just enjoy nature and the wonderful scenery.
