The Georgian Manor Condo 125

Loved it. Not all condos have w/d but ours did. We were relocated by RCI due to a problem with Law Cranberry reservation. RCI was great and came up with an outstanding alternate. We would go back here without question.

2BR loft floor plan, very large, main facility is a hotel/timeshare with a pool, hot tub, restaurant, and free movie nights. We went twice. There is also an outside BB court and mini golf, and an activities center.

This resort is actually closer to Blue Mountain skiing than the one we first booked into. Blue Mountain was great for us as first time skiing. We booked the beginner package for our family which included equipment rental, lesson for 1 hour and lift tickets for all day. we did that twice in one week. There is a shopping area that looks very "ski village" with restaurants, stores, and coffee shop. We opted for hot choc instead. Also there is an outdoor fire pit in the center of the store area.

In the summer time, Georgian Bay is just blocks away. We were not there in the summer, but I am sure there is boating and fishing. Also, don't forget Blue Mountain pottery. They have tours on designated days (call ahead) and are world famous.

Wonderful family retreat only a couple of hours from Toronto. I have seen some timeshare ads suggesting a trip into Toronto while staying in Collingwood, it really is at least a 2-3 hour trip one way depending on where in T.O you are going. It is about 4 or so from Niagara Falls. Although we live in US now, we are from Toronto,,,trust us on this.
