The Sloane Gardens Club

I stayed in Suite 1 at Sloane Gardens Club, from May 9 to May 17, 2009. There are not enough stars to give to Sloane Gardens Club. I give it 5, but it deserves as many stars as there are in the sky. To put this in perspective: this is the first timeshare I have ever given 5 stars to any other timeshare besides my own at Royal Mayan and Fiesta Americana in Can Cun, which fully deserve it.

The location could not be better. It is in Chelsea, close to Hyde Park, close to Harrod's, relatively close to the Museum of Natural History. If I lived in London, this would be a great neighborhood to live in... a very nice and centrally located area of London. There were dozen of bus routes that stop in nearby Sloane Square and the subway station was maybe 30 yards away.

The apartment itself is larger than the one I have at the Royal Mayan so I calculate it is about 130 meters square, but one bedroom and a larger living room. Everything is impeccably clean, and very well and tastefully furnished and decorated, Olde English, very appropriate for London...

And I might also add: well heated. Even though it was May, it was cold in London at night, but there were three radiators in the living room, one in the bedroom, and one in each bathroom...

It is run like a Swiss clock by Pamela andher staff of helpers. This is a very small timeshare, with only 10 units. Rules are strict, but for the good of everybody. Just fill in their forms before you get there, check in and check out when they ask you to, and keep the kitchen and everything clean and tidy, and you will not have any problem with the rules.

There was a fire drill while I was there, and I was told they check the fire alarms every single week. It is easy to see that they care a lot for all their guests. Pamela made me feel welcome before I arrived, by e-mail...

Pamela graciously gave me a tour of all 10 apartments on Saturday after everybody had checked out, and I can tell you that I would be very happy in any of the apartments. There is one with two bedroom, and one "efficiency" which is about twice as large as a large hotel room, and all the rest have one bedroom.

I will be very happy in any of them the next time I go to London, if I am fortunate enough to go again someday.

The Sloane Gardens Club is an exceptional timeshare in an exceptional location. Located at Sloane Square, the timeshare is small (only 20 units) and maintained at high standards. It is less than 50 yds to the tube station, bus service and a taxi stand.

Restaurants are nearby and the antique and specialty shops of Kings Road and Harrods are within walking distance. Show tickets and other arrangements are available from an on- site concierge.

Units are nicely furnished and roomy not to mention quiet and relaxing. Great place for a trip to London.
