- This beautiful resort is located in North Karelia (eastern Finland) 450kms northeast of Helsinki. Lomakyla Onnenvirta is built in typical Karelian style and is set amidst large forests and farmhouses on a hill overlooking Onnenvirta River. The river runs into Lake Korpijarvi which is divided by the Russian border. On site facilities include a sauna, snowmobiling and boating. The restaurant boasts seating for 150 guests with a terrace for summer use. Equipment for boating, snowmobiling and cycling may be rented from the resort which is also able to arrange local excursions.A car is essential.
