Heviz lies on the shores of the largest thermal lake in Europe where the surface water temperature averages 32C in summer when Indian water lilies bloom, and a steaming 25C in winter. Wooden catwalks built over the lake allow easy access for swimming and in winter there are also thermal baths adjacent to the lake. Aparthotel Heviz is only a 5 minute walk from the spa centre where many forms of health treatment are used. Lake Balaton is only 6km away and offers many water sports activities.
