I own a timeshare at Misiones. The first time we stayed we were in building 7 and loved it. At that point it was the nicest room we had ever stayed in when in Cabo. It was large, spacious, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub on balcony, best view in Cabo, two beaches, two pools ( one with $1.00 tacos that we're still thinking about! ) and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. One year we were put in an older unit - building 1 or 2 and were a little disappointed. The room was run down, but was spacious and had an awesome view. It will be interesting to see how the future development on and around this property turns out for Misiones. Overall- we are glad we own here. I can recommend Misiones - just beware if you don't get one of the newer rooms!

The Presidential Suite features a Master Bedroom with king bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. This unit has a Jacuzzi on the balcony. The living room has a queen size sofa bed, chair, coffee table, separate dining area with table and chairs, color cable TV with HBO & Cinemax, direct dial phones and private, oversized patio or balcony overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Enjoy a full kitchen with stove/oven, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, flatware, and glassware. Misiones del Cabo Beach Resort is an architectural masterpiece nestled into the natural cliffs overlooking the Sea of Cortez and El Arco, featuring convenient location, dramatic views, safe swimming beaches and a wide range of guest services. Overlooking the azure blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, this luxury, five-star resort is just minutes (2-1/2 miles) from downtown Cabo San Lucas - Baja California's exciting commercial and entertainment center. From the moment you arrive, you'll experience warm hospitality and courteous attentive service. Your comfort and complete satisfaction is the staffs only concern. At the Misiones del Cabo Hotel & Beach Resort, world class service is available 24 hours a day, every day. On site amenities include a Bar/Cocktail Lounge; 2 beach coves - one for swimming & snorkeling, the other more private and secluded; Deli - Convenience Store, Heated pools; Daily continental breakfast at the pool bar; Two Lighted Tennis Courts; Full-service swim-up Palapa Bar - serving tacos, quesadillas, chips and salsa, plus your favorite beverage - A great place to make new friends! Did I mention the most beautiful sunsets can be seen here?

One of the nicest places in Cabo. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. You are away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but you are only minutes away from the action. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. There is a great protected beach for swimming and snorkling. The finest golf courses in the world are only minutes away. The staff is helpful and friendly. We have been to Misiones del Cabo three times and we can't wait to return next year.

It's ok. Rooms are comfy but it is too far from the center of Cabo. Not much onsite. Cabs are expensive to/from property. The property is set back from the main road making it an effort to take the public bus. There is some shuttle service to Cabo, but it is limited.
Beachfront is limited and you are on your own. No beverage service, no chairs, etc.

We own a 2bed unit at this resort. Our unit has the best view of the Arch in Cabo from a wonderful terrace. Unit is comfortable for 4 persons but will sleep 6 with 2 baths. Resort is friendly, great for families. Two great pools! The new resturant was very good, they prepare your fishing catch if you choose for a reasonable cost and include all the trimmings. We had a gas barbeque on deck so we grilled our own catch. The resort is about 4 miles from downtown, but you can catch the local bus at the road. The small store on site was stocked well on some days but ran empty on others. Not a luxury resort but very comfortable and relaxing. The beach was great for collecting shells.

We have stayed at this resort several times, and have always enjoyed it. The only drawback, to us, was that it's probably 5 miles from town, since it's located in the corridor. The units are very comfortable, and the new building (#7) is gorgeous, with bay views, and hot tubs on the decks of the lockoffs. There is a small, rather poorly stocked mini store, offering more drinks than food. There is beach access on 2 sides. One side has a pretty treacherous surf, and the one on the other side is a nice little beach, but a long walk down a flight of stairs. That's ok. It's the walk back up that does you in! There is a shack on the beach that rents beach chairs, umbrellas, & water toys. The pool bar offers tacos, quesadillas and other snacks for lunch, and a continental breakfast until the food runs out.
