Just got back one day before Hurrican Bertha hit the island. We had an absolute BLAST!!! We traded into the St. George's Club through RCI and we have been to this reosrt many times and will continue to stay at this wonderful resort. I do admit it has to be Bermuda's best kept secret and the location is super. If your looking to relax and just chill out the town of St. Geroge has many great resturants, shops and small beaches to explore. Take the FREE shuttle to Blackbeard's, one of the best places to eat on the island and owned by the St. George's Club, just a short 5 min ride over the golf course or take the ferry to Hamilton. We love the family feel of this resort and even though we're not owner's, we were treated no differently. Dee Dee the Reservation Manager makes this place hum, she is professional, kind and tries her best to help each and every guest in her care. I can't say thank you enough to her for all of the little thingd she does for you. The all three pools are wonderful and open 24/7, and kept up very well. They have added new outdoor furniture around all of the pools. Most of the units are having makeovers. Last year our condo was a bit in need of updating and replacment of appliances, this time our unit was AWESOMENew cabinets and new appliances. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom lockoff. Right now I am making plans to go back again next year already, been home one week. Bermuda is our east coast Hawaii. If you go plan ahead and bring a suitcase of frozen food to ease the cost of food which is very expensive to buy and to eat out. You can also rent a charcoal grill so make reservations in advnace for one. Also, make sure you bring plastic cups from home, they are really expensive if you wait to buy them there. There are so many great places to stay but the St. George's Club is hands down just PERFECT. Walk into town and enjoy the many fine places to dine, shop or take a walk along many of the hidden beaches less crowded. You will love it!

Over the years we have spent nine weeks here. St George's is a pretty, unspoiled waterfront town in a beautiful and historic area. The SGC sits on a hill overlooking the town and harbor. The views are "postcard" stunning. In the other direction, the SGC grounds merge into a beautiful, quiet golf course that overlooks the ocean; it extends along the shoreline for a mile, with 180 degree views to the curving horizon across azure ocean. It's like having your own little National Park (without the crowds and rangers) between the ocean in the back and St George's Town and harbor in the front.

We just got back from a week that we rented through redweek.com we had an amazing time and we loved our time share. All the construction is complete for the new cottages so we weren't disturbed. Our room was situated at the end of the property (perfect for us, very quiet). The service was very good, although they do seem to need more help at the front desk. We especally loved the Black Beards hide away, which is the club restaurant which overlooks the private beach for the club it's perfect for a casual dinner during sunset. We had a wonderful time, so much so that I contacted the sales department to see if our cottage was available for our week. So we are now the proud owners of a beautiful week at the St. George's Club in Bermuda. The thing I really love most about the Island it self is that you feel relatively comfortable unlike other islands you are really free to roam, we take the public bus system and from there can go any ware. We really like St. George its much less crowded, Hamilton has more of a night light but with as many as four ships docked on that tiny island it becomes more like any American city and less like the relaxing Bermuda that we have come to love. As avid water people we love snorkeling and are both certified scuba divers we found that we could easily spend days in the water. On the days that it rains we spend site seeing at the various attractions on the island, or tucking our selves in our favorite pub and relaxing the day away with a beer and a bowel of fish chowder. This isnt our first trip to Bermuda but it certainly was our best. Id recommend seeing the island once and if you can do it by renting or trading a time share, we have found that its much better.

This resort, despite some negative commments posted below (note their age), is one of the finer spots to vacation. We are 20% fractional owners at Hilton Head and enjoy our weeks here more than there. If you are trying for a wild nightlife, rent-a-car and drive all over week - don't come. If you want to play Augusta National - don't come. On the other hand, if you want an enjoyable week, close to great beaches and a quaint historic town with several fine restaurants, the St George's Club is hard to beat. At this time the management is doing some upgading renovations at a time of year that seems questionable, but the property is filled with flowers, friendly and helpful staff, and great views of a terrific harbor. Free shuttle to golf and a beachside restaurant. Free onsite tennis. Three pools. Downhill walk (5 minutes) to town with shops and waterfront restaurants. Cottages are small but quaint and well kept. A really unbeatable place in my view.

Just returned from a week here (4/29-5/6) on an RCI exchange. Our unit had an incredible view of the harbor over the tops of those beautiful white roofs. We agree with other postings that part of the resort is "tired" but improvements and updates are underway. All kitchen equipment and dishes are being replaced. Our bed was new and very comfortable. We loved the location. With the excellent bus and ferry transportation day and night, we felt totally in touch with the rest of the country. And when we wanted the historic atmosphere and quiet, we stayed in St. Georges.
The quality of the food at Blackbeards (affiliated with the Club) for Thursday fish night was a very pleasant surprise.
