Constructed in the Canarian colonial style, this superb complex, purpose-built for vacation ownership, is set in lush, tropical gardens with palm trees, a large variety of cacti, plants, and flowers. The well-equipped and air-conditioned units have a private whirlpool in the bathroom, as well as satellite televisions and telephones in each room. Most units have breathtaking views towards the golden sand dunes of Maspalomas and the Atlantic Ocean.

Just stayed here for a week in Feb 06.
Very relaxed resort. Lovely appartments. Only complaint is that they do not have specific non smoking apartments.
Nicest surprise was the free laundry service every day.
A nice place for a relaxing break. It is very fast (and cheap) to get down into the heart of the resort, but the complex iteslf is a great place to unwind.

I own a week here, and can say it is one of the
best Timeshares I have stayed at in Spain.
And I can recommend it to anyone going on
holiday to Gran Canaria.

We bought here in 1997 and have been back (or sent friends or relatives) numerous times since.
Accommmodation is 1st class, service is generally good but sometimes a little slow (this is Spain, afterall.
Facilities on site are excellent, but somewhat limited - things tend to close early, entertainment is limited and somewhat restrained - this is not the place to go to "party"- , but housekeeping is great and you do get a great night's sleep (in verrry comfortable beds). Locality is a bit quiet, but good for families, maybe not so much the elderly, or those with walking difficulties, as the resort is located at the top of a fairly steep hill. However, taxis into Maspalomas or the much livelier Playa del Ingles are readily available and very cheap.
My son, (age 11) maintains that this is his favourite holiday destination (over Orlando - Florida, Disneyland - Paris, Majorca, Costa del Sol and Tenerife). The 2 large pools at this resort are safe and child friendly (kids are actually allowed to have fun, and I have never had any complaints from other, childless, adults) and on each occasion we have visited he has managed to make friends with other kids (not necessarily english speaking, so it's quite educational too!).
We are going back to Palm Oasis in October for the first time in 2 years, I'll update this then and let you know if anything has changed.

Bought here three years ago and have had four wonderful holidays since. We will never tire of the place, in fact it seems to get better every time. Perfect.
