Sunningdale Village

We stopped at this resort in May 2002, it was excellent and will soon get its gold crown status back.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the apartment/house you see in the picture. With 3 of us living in a 8/6 apartment you can imagine we had more than enough space, the master bedroom was superb with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath. The rest of the apartment was of a matching standard.

If we had a complaint it was that the sales team are a bit over zealous and should realise that if you already own timeshare there is no point trying the hard sell.

If you want a quality base in south Tenerife you could do worse than try here.

P.S. if you are bothered by aircraft noise do not go to any Golf Del Sur resorts, it does not bother us and we have been a few times and always enjoy ourselves.

Staying here was our first experience of timeshare accommodation. We were very impressed and initially put it down to the fact that all our holidays would be like this from now on because this is the standard to expect.

Our 2 bed roomed apartment was delightful and many are built with privacy in mind so that you do not look directly into your neighbour's window. Many of the apartments are on 2 floors with the master bedroom being upstairs with it's own Jacuzzi, shower, twin washbasins and bidet. The master bedroom also had it's own private balcony. Downstairs was a full kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. The living room had two large settees that both converted into double beds. The twin room had it's own patio and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

The resort itself was very nice with a lovely restaurant, bar and sun terrace. Evening entertainment was also very good. The pool was large with many secluded areas around the sun terrace to sunbathe or seek shelter under the palm trees. With a clear view of Mount Teide the resort is definitely worth a visit.
