- The Monte Rosa Hotel & Country Club is only 25 minutes from Damascus City, 1400 metres above sea level and overlooks a magnificent panorama of the El Sheikh Mountains and Zazar Lake. From the resort you can visit old Damascus City (Elcham) part of the ancient civilisation or enjoy shopping in the new part of the city. Beirut is only 78kms from the resort. The resort offers a number of amenities indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna exercise equipment, games room, four restaurants, bar and an outdoor barbecue during the summer months.
