Wyndham South Shore

We stayed here on an RCI Exchange on three occasions. We had both a three bedroom and a two bedroom. Both units were large and comfortable and very clean. The murphy bed is 100% better than any pull out couch making it really comfortable for six or eight in the two or three bedroom units. My one suggestion would be that the lighting could have been brighter. The resort is close to everything with transportation to gambling. If you prefer to drive it is only a couple of miles away to the large gambling facilities. The lake and Nevada State Beach is a short walk through a beautiful forested area with hiking and biking trails. The timeshare provides a pass to Round Hills Pines Beach a couple of miles away. It has kayaks, paddle boats and jet skis for rent. Food shopping is across the street. This was a lovely timeshare. We have stayed in many different timeshares in Lake Tahoe. We are summer people and to our likings this is our favorite resort.

Wonderful Resort! We stayed here a week in the Spring and found the room to be perfect for us. The balcony barbecue and seating provided a comfortable "cocktail" hour setting. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. The bedrooms and baths were large and tasteful... and the living area was very comfortable after a day of hiking, shopping, driving, etc. Grocery shopping was a walkable distance and quite good... the short walk to the lake was quite scenic. We had family company during our stay so the 2nd bedroom and Murphy bed were used... Guests reported they were very comfortable. Very enjoyable stay for all!

I have stayed here twice and thought it was one of the best resorts for skiing. Very tastefully decorated.

Clean and comfortable. A good Tahoe location.

We had mice (or some kind of creature) in the walls right behind our headboard that kept us up all night. It took three nights to resolve with maintenance - nothing like being sleep deprived on your vacation!
