Me and mu daughter stayed in B20X condo on a 2nd floor. We got a good deal - $800 for 5 nights including all taxes, cleaning fees, etc. Unit was clean and bright. There was a balcony with gas grill, which I used couple of times to cook meat and chicken. It's was very nice, because we tried to save on restaurant food. Kitchen was stocked with all appliances, silverware, pots, pans, ect. The only problem I had was the train tracks are being too close to the Village itself and to the unit we stayed at. Even though it was separated by other condos that faced directly to the tracks, I still could hear a train whistling loud in the middle of the night or in the early morning... Also, there were days where construction workers were fixing something next to the gym door where our windows were facing to. It wasn't so loud, but still we could hear them talking and drilling. But I'm a very light sleeper and sensitive to any kind of noise. Otherwise, we didn't hear any neighbors upstairs or downstrairs.

The grounds are very good - we liked koi pond with the fishes, waterfalls, pool and the jacuzzi. Pool was very crowded and it was easy to find a longchair every during the weekend. Beach is 2 steps away, it's nice. We took a walk on a beach couple of times - very quiet and relaxing. We also tried shooting a pool and play mini golf on putty green.

We drove couple of times to the harbor village, which is 3 mins drive and ate at wonderful "Crab Shack". Then stroll through the stores and visited ice cream parlor. Harbor squirrels were very entertaining - we fed them with chips and they fought for it.

Legoland and Aquarium is 10 mins drive. Seaworld - 20 mins drive (with no traffic), but it was OK for us to drive 20 mins. Oceanside pier is nice to walk on. Check in and check out was 1 min deal.

We will return there this summer if we'll find something suitable (priced jumped up) and further away from the train tracks.

This is the nicest resort in Oceanside. You have the best of both worlds right on the beautiful Oceanside beach and the resort itself which is like stepping into Hawaii with the lush vegetation, rivers, bridges, coi ponds, etc. This is the only resort right on the beach with no roads to cross.

We had the most relaxing vacation ever at North Coast Village. The beach was a short trek through the beautifully landscaped grounds. We could spend all day playing in the surf and sand and then just casually head back to the condo. The small kitchen was more than adaquate to cook if you wanted to, but there are plenty of places to eat in all price ranges very close by. Totally recommend this for families!

Over all a pleasant place to stay. Nice pool, nice grounds, nice beach. Biggest down fall is if your on the east side. Construction noise and train noise. The train noise at any time of the night.... I would stay again though....

We stayed the week of July 4th. The resort is massive and if you are in the back you are actually at least a block from the beach if not more. They are doing construction across the street and the pounding (steel on steel) starts at 7:00 a.m. Don't plan on leaving the condo complex on July 4th as it is impossible to get back in due to traffic. It took us 2 hours to get from the freeway exit to the condo (less than a mile) The condo was neat, clean and had lots of ammenities. There are no quaint little shops or shopping area in Oceanside. There was no place for the kids or us to go at night where we felt they would be safe. We would go to Carlsbad next time.
