Marriott's Phuket Beach Club

Best of what Marriott has to offer! A must see & experience place. Property is very beautiful, only downside is that location bit far away (45 min drive from Patong beach) , but if you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place to be.

We loved our stay over Christmas 09 at the resort, but we were assigned to Mai Kao Beach Club, which was a bit further from the Phuket Beach club. They had a shuttle to take you over but we would have preferred to be at the actual Beach Club with all the Marriott Hotel amenities and services available to us.

The beach was nice and the pool was great but we preferred to go over the the Phuket pool which was discouraged by the staff. That pool had shade which Mai Kao did not have since it is so new. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner right by the pool, at a wonderful price and even had entertainment and caroling.

This was a lovely experience but I doubt we will repeat it since it is a long way to go from the US. We were living in Singapore at the time so it made a great Christmas vacation for us! We recommend going the week before and up to Christmas instead of the week between Christmas and New Years, which was packed!

This is a stunning, all star resort. In terms of luxury, beauty and service quality, there is nothing better than the Marriott Vacation Club property in Phuket.

We have been to this resort 3 times and have not found a place in the world yet to match it. We LOVE this place.

We have stayed at the resort twice and it has been amazing. The staff is great, they usually anticipate your needs!

Rooms and resort are top tier, furnishing and atmosphere fit perfectly with the tropical environment.

It is outside of town, north of the airport. The beach is quiet, very little hustle and bustle or people. However, Marriott has a shuttle to get you into town, easy to find nightlife if you want.
