Description

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is located in beautiful Pocahontas County, birthplace of the Eight Rivers. The area is famous for it's trout fishing, boating, hunting, wildlife viewing and winter skiing and snowshoeing. Boating is popular on nearby lakes, and guests may enjoy tennis courts on-site, and golf nearby. At nearly 5,000 feet in elevation, this is not just another resort...It's another world. Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort boasts incredible winter skiing and snowshoeing, and was rated as #1 Summer Mountain Resort by Ski Magazine. Hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking are among the many warm weather activities. Condominiums are from 1-3 bedrooms, and offer wood burning fireplaces and decks with panoramic views. Each kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and microwave oven. Linens are provided. Enjoy goumet dining and specialty shops- things you wouldn't expect to find so deep in the mountains. This is a great vacation destination any time of the year.
