We had a two bedroom lock-off unit. The A side had a full kitchen and was larger with a larger balcony, but the B side was also nice and would be fine for two adults if you did not plan on cooking much. The A side had a full kitchen, while the B side had only a hot plate and microwave. The combined arrangement of both units of the lock-off would be great for two adult couples.
The rooms were extremely well maintained and spotless. The furnishings were in great shape and comfortable. The beds were a little soft, but that is just personal choice.
On the A side, there is a large Jacuzzi tub and full bathroom. The B side had small bathroom with no Jacuzzi but certainly more than adequate.
The pool area was nice. Quiet most days, but small enough that when there were a lot of kids, it could get a little loud. The area was clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs while we were there. However, I believe if the facility were full, it could get pretty crowded.
We loved the fact that there was a Publix grocery store and some nice shops and restaurants right across the street. Very convenient. Also, within about a mile or two, there was just about anything you could want. So, while most would not want to, you could truly stay at this resort without a car if you wanted. If we went back and could not get a great deal on a car through Priceline, we would probably just get a shuttle and not rent a car. But, we love to walk.
We ate on our balcony most nights. Although there are really no views so to speak, they have landscaped the facility in such a way that it is loaded with palm trees and flowers to hide traffic, noise and other things and was quite pleasant.
They had grills, but they were charcoal. I love the taste of cooking on charcoal, but think that gas grills are a must for resorts. I dont want to hassle with buying, storing, lighting, etc. charcoal. Just love the convenience of gas grills.
The general area reminded us of being in Palm Dessert or parts of Arizona. Very upscale area with safe walking areas and golf courses, landscaped streets, etc.
If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle and just want a very nice, clean, comfortable resort to chill at, I would highly recommend. Id consider the resort best suited for adults rather than children as there is not much around for kids unless you want to drive to the beaches. We will definitely return.

We stayed at Mizner in January 07. It has a new, clean feel to the units. The larger one bedroom with full kitchen was huge with a nice balcony with table and chairs. Inside was a good sized seating area and dining table. The bedroom had a whirl pool tub and there was a shower in the bathroom.
About a third of the units look out on the pool, which was warm and sunny. For the rest, it is an elevator ride and a quick walk across the court yard, so take a beach cover-up.
Directly across the road from the pool is a full size grocery store. The resort is part of Weston's town center with an assortment of restaurants and small shops. A few units look out on a busy road.
We had a car so we took several short day trips. We loved the Duck tour in South Beach Miami and the airboat ride in the everglades about 15 minutes from the resort. We also caught the show Spamalot in downtown Fort Lauderdale. There is a lot to do in the area but you will need a car.

Mizner place is a nice getaway if visiting friends in Western Broward County or attending a conference at the Bank Atlantic arena as I did. I picked this up as a last call on RCI and was pleasantly surprised at how luxurious this resort is. It is located in the city of Weston (planned Disneyesque style community) with lots of golf & tennis nearby. Also right behind the resort is a Publix supermarket along with lots of restaurants such as Japanese/Thai, Starbucks, Italian, Pub fare and more. As this resort is in the suburbs it's quite a ways to the beach, about 45 minutes so count on doing other things like shopping at Sawgrass Mills outlet mall or playing golf or tennis in Weston. My room was newly decorated in beautiful West Indian style furniture with stone tile and a huge jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. The bed was king sized and heavenly. Slept like a rock. The resort staff are very nice and parking is very convenient to the unit. You'll need a rental car to make this place work. Never made it to the pool or internet room but it looked inviting. This would make a great snowbird escape so long as you don't want the beach. I'd go back again if a conference comes back into town. You won't be disappointed at this place.

Stayed here in Feb. 2006 in a 1 Bedroom A side unit. It is a beautiful resort with 5 star interior, and a very conveinant location. Located next to the Weston Town Center so you have a grocery store across the street and many restraunts and stores within a 2 block radius. Only negative is that it does have one busy road on the East side so the quietest rooms are located on the interior around the pool courtyard. I would recommend that you request a unit loced on the west side of the complex or facing the pool.
