The Fairways are one of the nicest Marriotts we have stayed in and we have been to quite a few. The resort is quiet but very kid friendly with a nice camp program for them. There is the Elizabeth Arden Spa on the timeshare premises with its own quiet outside pool and a lovely indoor pool. There is also a nice spa lounge and small restaurant. The resort is adjacent to the Seaview Country Club also owned by Marriott. The Country club has its own indoor and large outdoor pool. So in total there are four pools for very few people. If you golf there are two 18 hole courses and numerous putting ranges and 2 driving ranges. What we loved were the great restaurants in the area, the mild temperatures in the Spring and summer, the proximity to the Borgata in AC and the way we are always treated by the wonderful staff at the Fairway Villas at Seaview Country Club.
We have been to this resort four times and cannot wait to go back each time. It is a classy vacation that is not presumptious. It is a great place for anyone, seniors, couples, kids, teens and young families. Go there you will not be disappointed.

Besides eveything positive mentioned below, 10 minutes to Borgata, 15 min to Brigintine Beaches, and 20 minutes to Great restaurants in Ventor and Margate. In addition to the wonderful golf (discount available), children loved it,camp, day programs etc. Stayed 7/04/05 week. Now own 3, most under rated resort on eastern shore!

Stayed here six times. The excellent amenities: driving range, putting and pitching green as well as the Nick Faldo golf school, golf course, tennis courts, Elizabeth Arden spa and swimming pool/jacuzzi are no more than a five minute walk. Electric carts run regularly around the well maintained property if you need a ride.
There's a bird sanctuary with viewing towers, Noyes art museum, restaurants, a pristine seafood market (Rafelli's) near the winery, and supermarkets within 10-15 minutes as well as excellent and less expensive golf courses within half hour.
We think the two bedroom, 2 bath unit is very comfortable and well equipped, especially with the recent renovations. The kitchen is fully equipped, though a salad spinner would be welcomed. Double sink is nice and convenient touch in master bedroom. Villa guests now have their own pool towels and relieves the unsightly problem of guests leaving towels on the chaises when departing the pool. Parking permits are now issued to guests. Adult activities are minimal: wine tour, Cape May tour, bingo and social wine tasting. We do miss the water aerobics and yoga classes. All in all we are upgrading the resort to five stars from our previous four and half in 2005 because of improvements to the resort. A computer in the Fairway Villas center and Brigatine visitor's beach passes would also be welcomed and if we had a choice of not receiving marketing calls during our stay.

Golf, gambling, and a great time. As Gov Kean used to say; New Jersey and You-Perfect together. And as of Summer 2007, free WIFI in the units with, as we just found out, a 100 % signal. An extra treat in a wonderful timeshare.

We loved it!!! We stayed here in November 2002.
The grounds were well-maintained and beautiful. We loved the indoor pool and even treated ourselves to the Elizabeth Arden Spa.
The villa was beautiful and spacious. Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer was a huge plus. The master suite was our favorite part with oversized jacuzzi tub and private bathroom. From the third floor there was a fantastic view of A/C....amazing at night!
A/C was only a 10 minute ride and we didn't mind it. It was nice to not be in the hectic city.
Smithville was just a short drive away and we thought it was great. Many little shops with a historic flair. Great food. A nice theater with a cute little holiday show. Place to feed ducks and geese...set on little ponds. Even had a carousel and train ride a big hit for kids.
We even took a day trip to Cape May. We will definitely return.

My family and I visit the Fairway Villas every year in March. I love it. It is just a little too far away from Atlantic City. I guess it has to be to have all of those amenities.

This is a great resort for golf lovers. Kids' activities organized throughout the day. Hotel restaurants are more for adults. Shoprite LPGA tournament held here every June--we stayed during this week and had to take long detour to get to the Marriott by car. Elizabeth Arden spa was very nice if you like to be pampered. Watch out for black flies during the summer in the outdoor pool area. Resort uses huge fans to try to keep these flies away.

Spacious floor plan with unique kitchen layout. Furnishing are top notch and bedrooms are large. Resort is located on golf course and only miles from ATLANTIC CITY. We have traveled the country and find this to be an undiscovered gem. You can kick back and relax or go full bore in Atlantic City. Grounds are well kept with large pool and staff is very accomadating. Don't own here but are exchanging for the 2nd time--------highly recommend !!!!!

Stayed at the resort 3 times....Beautiful, spacious 2BR/2BA units with screened balcony overlooking one of two golf courses. Gas fireplace, W/D, fully equiped kitchen. King in master BR, king and sofa bed in 2nd BR, sofa bed in living room. Gas grills in the woods outside. Walking paths around golf courses and down by the bay. Love the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa - free daily use for TS owners and exchangers. Mens and womens separate locker rooms with sauna, steam room, whirlpool, cold plunge pool & private walled sun area. Showers and changing area chock full of EA products to try. Outside mineral and whirlpools. Indoor pool. Spa Bar for smoothies and lunch. Marketplace now open year 'round. 15 minutes to the action of Atlantic City!

Non lockoff 2 bdrm suite, nicely furnished with fireplace. Building 3 has the new mattresses. No free golf. Not much to do in the area. I found it too far and inconvenient from the gambling, and if that's why you want to go to Atlantic City I'd recommend you stay right in an AC hotel where the elevator is the only ride to the tables. For a great dinner try Ram's Head Inn about 5 minutes away.

Apr 04= WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HOTEL LOBBY, MAIN DINING HALL, DESK & CHECK IN. Are they converting to RAMADA??? This hotel refurb is for the birds. The GRAND is definately GONE. We had two wait staff in the full Grill Room, waited for medicore, expensive food, and although they tried, they seemed need a bit more help that night.
If this is like "IT WAS" in the old days, I would expect to see cornfields in the future.
BTW= No more brunch Buffets, and the Famous Friday Nite Seafood Bufett has been discontinued. (Where is WESTIN?) End from 4/04 update
WARNING- USUALLY A WEEK IN JUNE- AT LEAST ONE COURSE WILL BE USED FOR THE PRO-AM & LPGA TOURNAMENTS. (CLOSED TO PUBLIC, SEAVIEW CC MEMBERS, AND GUESTS

All 2 bed/2 bath, BBQs, 10 + lighted tennis courts, two indoor pools three outdoor pools (on was listed as adults only), full Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa & health club in new facility. Older health clubs with connecting golf club in hotel. Use any (discount for Red Door spa on most services.)
Market Place IS NOW open year round. Huge Shop Rite & Acme (Albertsons) within 5 minutes (SR is usually cheaper). Parts still under construction. Excellent food in main dining room & the pub.
About 10 minutes to Atlantic City, visit last USA Lennox factorty- only one still selling seconds, Renault Winery,Smithville, Cape May, & so on.
Winter months (Yellow-not red) may be too cold to play golf or tennis, and all outside pools & Whirlpools (3) will be closed. At times trans provided to AC. RR about a mile in Absecon off Rt 30.
