We just returned from a 4 day stay in a 2br deluxe. The unit was recently refurbed and was in good condition. The kitchen needs some redesigning. There's NO storage space for groceries, leaving us to pile things on counters, floor and top of fridge. The cabinet containing the plates, bowls and cups is very hard to reach. We hoisted our 9 year old to stand on the counter top to reach things for us. A step stool would be handy. The chairs are too large to fit in the kitchen or we could've stood on them.

The floors are like most wood framed Wyndham units, very thin, springy and noisy. Unless you're on the top floor, foot traffic from above will cause the ceiling fixtures to swing at times.

The maint. crews are everywhere, keeping things tidy and manicured. Parking space can be scarce if you elect to stay out past 10 pm. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had no maintenance issues.

As always, you're invited to fend off sales pitches for a couple of hours in exchange for dinner. We checked-in late and avoided the parking pass tango, but the phone rang by the next morning.

I just spent a week at the Meadows and I would not recommend this to anyone. I believe that the housekeeping staff is responsible for this review. We had reserved a three bedroom unit on first floor, when we arrived we were sent to a third floor unit on the opposite end of the building of the elevator a handicap accessible unit which we did not request. We were then moved to the first floor to a unit that was a terrible. The towel bar in one bathroom was torn from the wall laying in the sink with the clean towels on it, (well I think they were suppose to be clean towels) there was broken glass all over the kitchen floor, carpet was stained and dirty and stains on the dining chairs. One toilet actually had a mold ring. We washed the towels as we did not feel as though this unit had been cleaned and not sure about the towels either. There were rings of cooked on food around the burns of the glass top stove. I went to use a pitcher and took a dirty pitcher with lemonade still in with mold out of the cupboard. We stayed for years with Fairfield and it appears that Wyndham's standards are much lower --will never stay there again

We have stayed here twice, once last November and again this past May. Overall, the resort is wonderful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and fairly clean, the staff is very accommodating. Lots of activities and and things to do on site. We checked in on Mother's Day in May and flowers were given to the ladies, which I thought was a nice touch. The location is good, not too close to the hustle and bustle of Branson, but close enough that it doesn't take too long to get anywhere.

My only suggestion to anyone staying there is to make sure the jacuzzi tub is clean before using. On the surface ours looked clean, but on closer inspection it was pretty gross. Also, parking after dark can be a headache - unless you get in the building where the displays are and all the salesmen go home after dark. Lots of parking there.

Will probably return - but might like to try Mountain Vista next time.

The Meadows is the greatest. The staff goes out of their way to accomadate. There are shows, golf, fishing, shopping, fish hatchery, silver city and day trips to Arkansas. Best of all is the entertainment supplied by the staff of the Meadows. We have seen top notch groups that perform on stage in Branson at the resort. Plus the staff puts together wonderfull evenings of fun.
