We are just minutes from Assateague Island National Park which is famous for it's wild ponies, birdwatching, seashell collecting,hiking or just a long walk along the shore. Of course, Ocean City, MD is just 10 miles away where there are 12 miles of white pristine beaches to welcome you for a day of sun and fun. While there take a walk on the famous boardwalk and enjoy the many varieties of food that await you - fresh Maryland crab feasts are a local favorite, and the caramel corn, shaved ice and boardwalk fries are also quite delicious. While in Ocean City, there are many day trips that will capture the interest of any visitor. Washington, D.C. is just to to the west approximately three hours away. While en route, stop off in St. Michaels and visit the Maritime Museum, or the Naval Academy in Annapolis. If the "birds" are in town, visit Camden Yards in Baltimore or visit the Inner Harbor. If a day at the casino is on your list, there are two just an hour away in Delaware, or take a ferry ride to Atlantic City, N.J. Villas of Ocean Pines has so much to offer any vacationer, and you will want to return year after year to this fabulous resort.
