Stayed there Christmas/New Years 2007 and I loved the place great pool and hot tub. My wife loved the fact that both units were renovated but still hated that the studios because they were too small, but I still liked the rooms.

A bit of a haul from the lifts at Breckenridge.

Staff was friendly. A bar/restuarant should be added to allow for a drink after hours.

We exchanged through RCI to stay at Skier's Edge. We were told it was "in" Breckenridge. It is NOT in Breckenridge but in the town of Blue River. It is approxiamately 6-8 miles out of Breckenridge. The staff at Skier's Edge were very cordial and accomodating. The office is only open until 7, so if we wanted to swim, we had to run down to get our towels before the office closed.

The indoor pool is beautiful, but chilly. They said they keep it at 85 degrees, but when we checked the temp,it was 77-78 degrees. Once we started moving, the water felt warmer. The hot tub was disgusting. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a LONG time. When we turned it on, the foam (from the chemicals being wrong/off) was DIRTY. I felt gross getting out of the hot tub. You could see the dirt in the scum.

The rooms were nice and small. They are very old and falling apart. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, the floor tiles were peeling. I went through the checklist when we first checked in to verify the totals of all if the utensils. I wasnot going to do it at first, but when I glanced in the cupboard, there was an obvious discrpenacy, so I filled out the form. If the maids review the checklist after each guest, someonewasn't doing their job. There were a lot of things missing.... plates, glasses, etc. SInce I work as a secret shopper, I have this habit of checking things out really well.

There is also a mini-gym on site and a game room. Most, if not all of the games in the game room were broken (or unplugged. we could not find the plug to check it)

We attended another timeshare presentation in Breckenridge and found out that the Skier's Edge is under new management. We were told (this is hear- say of course) that the old owners never used the money/maintenance fees for upkeep and upgrades so that is why it is falling apart. It looked like the new management is working hard on the units and hopefully that will show. For people who like to be near the action, but not to near, this is an ideal location.

Personally, we like to be in town. We like to be able to walk to everything and go out in the evening and have a drink with dinner. When you stay at skier's Edge, you can not do that. There are not even any taxi's to take back to the Condo.

Recommendations for the SKier's Edge would be to add a small restaurant/bar to the location, continue to clean up and redo the units, and train the kids who work there to not only add chemicals to the hot tub and pool, but clean them and maintain them more effeciently.

I am very pleased with the updates that have been occurring over the last 2-3 years. This is a nice place to take your family. My kids especially enjoyed the indoor pool. I enjoyed the hot tub after a hard day of skiing.

Stayed at Skier's Edge two years ago. Place has a nice, down home type feeling. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is not a new resort, no glitz just a great place to come back to after a hard day's ski. I'll be back in March '04.

First time there this last December. Had a GREAT TIME. Skiing great. Skier's Edge was everything I needed and wanted. Friendly managers and residents. I found the condo to be very clean and near everything.
