My wife and I just returned from a great relaxing week at Martin Terrace. The unit was clean and was about seventy-five steps from the patio to the water of beautiful Lake Martin. It was a perfect location because I could fish early in the morning while she slept, and I did not have to drive to "the ole fishin' hole".

My cousin and his wife joined us the first four days. We played golf at the two "Stillwater" courses, while the ladies used the plastic in Auburn and Opelika. They didn't miss Alex City either. The golf courses lacked only in their GREENS. The bermuda hadn't really greened up yet. About fifteen miles south we played the beautiful ROBERT TRENT JONES course.Very Nice.

Another couple joined us on Tuesday. We all took a three hour pontoon ride on Lake Martin. The water was a beautiful blue, and calm, with just enough breeze to be cool on the warm cloudless day.

Ms. Fran, was so gracious in changing our room when we found that our friends could join us.

Even though we did not want to use it, a telephone in the room would have been nice in the event of an emergency back home.

Call Ms. Fran for any special needs.

Our june trip is confirmed for First Fairway at Walden, Montgomery, TX., on Lake Conroe, and on the first fairway of the golf course. Can't wait!! Day trips will include Houston and the River Walk in San Antonio. Will write review upon returning home.

October will find us at Yellowstone National Park. Our stay will be at Lake Condominums at Big Sky, and joining us will be our daughter, husband, and grandson, (10 years old). We would like to hear from you who have been there as it is our first time. Thanks, Hight
