Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Mountain Place Resort--in Cobbly Nob--is just 10 miles from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Wildlife is abundant - over 70 species of mammals and 200 species of birds make the Park home.
At the resort, you have use of an outdoor pool and playground. Bordering the resort is a public 18-hole golf course, designed by Gary Player. The Ober Gatlinburg recreational complex includes facilities for skiing, year-round ice-skating, and an alpine slide. The ski area, open December through mid-March, has an 800-foot vertical drop, four slopes, five tow ropes, and three chair lifts.
Contemporary units offer air-conditioning, full kitchens, fireplaces, and washer/dryers. Visit famous Dollywood, or explore all of the many hiking and trails nearby. Mountain Place Resort is a great choice for a family vacation.

Found Heaven, 11 miles east of Gatlinburg! Just 8 units all facing Bent Creek Golf Course and the Smoky Mountains. There's an outdoor pool and nothing else but peace and golf. Our unit was a two-story 3 bdrm with balcony, porch, fireplace, large living and dining rooms, 2 1/2 baths, laundry room, kitchen and nook. Huge! Don't tell anyone about this place; we wanna go back!
