Re: Manhattan Club Lawsuit (by Chris V.):
miriam r 38,
your statement that, "especially when the value now is at 0" is both true and false. the value is $000 for TMC owners, but exponentially higher for TMC/BLUEGREEN.
we are discussing the value of a new york city near-luxury accommodation; this cannot possibly be worth $000. this artificial worth is one created by TMC/BLUEGREEN. they realize the financial dilemma that some owners face, and they are taking full and criminally greedy, fraudulent advantage of this situation.
think of it: we relinquish our deed to these thieves. they now have property inventory to sell as they see fit: either as a hotel or as another timeshare to sell at CURRENT MARKET VALUE...e.g. hotel----at least $3-500+ per night; or as a timeshare, at least $50-70.000 per week. does this match the amount of $000 ascribed to the value of TMC owners' initial investment? the answer is a resounding NO.
the goal of attorney zimmerman's lawsuit is to beat TMC's greed and to create an equitable financial settlement for his clients who were defrauded and scammed by TMC. his strategies toward this goal will not be discussed in this redweek forum. to find out more, i suggest you contact attny zimmerman directly. his contact information follows:
