My wife and I just left an unsolicited meeting where Timeshare Clearinghouse (Timeshareclearinghouse.com) from Nashville gave us a :30 seminar. Afterwards they said were qualified to get a portion of what we have been paying for yearly maintenance fees, They would have it returned to us, they would get 25% of the refund. Lots of words later thay were asking for ID and a credit card. They could get us the refund, but we had to sign today. I said I would have to look into it/. I was told if I didn't sign I would have to check the box marked declined. I was confused why he was using the $9,000 figure and asking for a credit card. I told my wife, "We're out!" They play it cool like they are doing us a favor. I'm in Florida and I'm 79 year old. Seems like elder abuse. Get the word out! If I'm wrong, you'll know after you meet with them (should they call)
