My advice is to read, read --- then read some more. There is a wealth of information from some very experienced and highly knowledgeable people to be gleaned from sites like Timeshare Users Group and, to a lesser extent, even these RedWeek forums. Several timeshare sites have search features enabling you to look through all of their postings. Read, read ---- then read some more.

Also, although I do not claim to have any personal knowledge about Club Intrawest, I HAVE read some very recent postings on Timeshare Users Group which indicate some policy and procedure changes pertaining to Club Intrawest resales. You'd be well advised to learn all about the system (and all about the recent changes) before pulling the trigger on a purchase.
