If your rescission was within the proper timeframe, they have no choice (by law) but to refund whatever you've paid them. If you close all your bank accounts, they'll have no way of knowing where to refund your money. I suggest leaving that bank account open with no funds in it and when this is all over, you can close that account and move on to your new accounts.

You never did say what date you sent the rescission letter .... that date/time stamp is of the utmost importance, because if the letter was received by the resort AFTER your rescission period had passed, then they can legally come after you no matter how many new accounts you open and they can ruin your credit if you refuse to abide by the contract you signed with them.
