Typically, we have to pay a maintenance fee in order to make the reservation, I usually require this amount in advance from the renter for good faith as it it is non refundable, wouldn't want to be stuck with a paid time with no renter. I have a time share in Cabo where my maintenance is upward of $400.00s, hope this helps.
