Glad it worked out. With a March vacation date, escrow would have been hard to manage. As a points owner, I usually put a Confirmation in my name, send a copy to the prospective renter so he know we have it, and put the reservation into HIS name when full payment is received. If time permits, he can pay half immediately when I prove that we have the unit and the balance 60 days before check-in, but it stays in my name till payment in full is received. Of course a person who owns a set week at a specific resort can rent it when he pleases without the resort's permission but he should let them know who is actually coming in the owner's place. A written contract is a good idea in either case. MD
