I appreciate your help. When I talked to them initially, I told them that they couldn't charge the card until a later date. After your note, and a variety of other research, I reported the card as stolen.... I also called them and (as you said) they didn't answer the phone. The message I left was (paraphrased) that they had at best misrepresented themselves, and at worst committed fraud. Any attempt to pursue me or my money would result in legal proceedings.
